    Wonderful little Greek restaurant

We had a hankering for Greek food and ended up at the Greek Kitchen. The food was excellent, but portions for the more expensive food (like the lamb) were rather small and an sides other than salad had to be ordered separately. The atmosphere was excellent, however, and with a little extra pita in our bellies we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

    Excellent West-Side Greek

This restaurant never disappoints. The cold starters are excellent -- particularly the skordalia, grape leaves, taramasalata, and eggplant salad. I've only had one hot starter -- the fried zucchini, and it's wonderful. The meaty main courses are the best -- the gyros, souvlaki, and bifteki, and particularly the combination of all three. But my favorite dish is the lamb chops -- four juicy, tasty, tender loin chops. My choice of side dish is always the roasted potatoes -- lemony and delicious. The wait staff is very pleasant and efficient, and the Hellenic blue and white decor is pleasing. It's also nice because the tables are not on top of each other. Highly recommended and affordable. The cheapest wine at around $19 a bottle is a good deal, too.

    Yummy food

Went here for the first time two weeks ago and have been back ever since. can't get enough of their chicken gyros. the food is delicious! although i haven't strayed away from the gyro, i wouldn't doubt that the rest is just as good. the service is okay- takes a while for them to check on your table or refill your glass, althought the food comes out relatively quick. great value for the food- cheap price for good food. atmosphere is nothing special- it's clean and all, but not a romantic ambience. could use a little call from TLC if you ask me, but the food makes up for it. all that said, i'd definitely recommend it for a quick bite to eat. nothing fancy and nothing expensive. =)

    Neighborhood Gem

Greek Kitchen is always fresh, delicious and reasonable. My husband and I eat their food almost once a week and have never had a bad meal. Highly recommended.

    Yummy But Busy

This place is pretty great! But if you are looking for a quiet meal then you may want to rethink it! Between the neighboring hospital and schools this place is jumping at lunch time but the food is worth the noise and the service is quick and efficient! I can't wait to go again!

    A Fabulous Place

My friend and I went to this restaurant after reading about it and it exceeded all expectations! Our food was absolutely delicious. And so plentiful! I couldn't believe how much food we received. Definitely a good value. I particularly liked the saganaki that we had for an appetizer, although with the amount of food we probably didn't need one! The retsina was fabulous as well. As a former resident of Athens, this place gets my vote!

    Great place

The food is excellent, traditional greek food. The grape leaves, dips, salad, gyros are all great....even the fish is decent. The service is a little slow, it's true, but if you're not in a hurry, this is a great place to dine.
