tasty apps, adequate and compliant
We had tix for a show and had to muscle our meal along a little. The waiter was very nice about it and kept things on time, but it didn't feel rushed. The apps are great, so order those and maybe split a salad and main course or pasta. The mains were large enough. Those Greek Fries could use more lemon or change the cheese or pepper them up or something - the prep/fry was great but they needed more.. zinga. Great prices. Will go back.

Just had dinner here. So disappointing. - i had the red snapper which was average and not worth the $22. - Waitress was ok. Felt like she just didn't care. She didn't offer refills of wine, or even seem enthusiastic about the food. Slammed the meals down on the table and has vanished in an instant without any care.. The bus boys were great though. Filling my glass with water everytime i took a couple of sips, clearing dishes fast but not so fast they were annoying, etc. Two of us spent $70 in total there. I can easily say i'm never going back Because I can spend a fraction of that somewhere else and get food twice a good.

Best Restaurant Around
My whole family loves this restaurant. The staff is amazingly nice, the decor is comfortable and inviting, and most of all the food is fabulous. I recommend this restaurant to everyone. It's my family's favorite place to eat.

Service?
Ordered delivery from greek kitchen today as I have been weekly since the summer. Always read poor reviews online, but didn't have a bad experience until today. I ordered dolmades (stuffed grape leaves) and they were tough as rocks. I called the restuarant to let them know this, AND prefaced it with "I don't want a replacement order ...but you should know that the dolmades are really rock solid.." Their response "it was probably in the fridge overnite...just let it thaw." Wow.

Fabulous Find!
I found The Greek Kitchen thru this site and it is fabulous. I highly recommend it! Food is authentic and excellent and a great value. Quaint atmosphere with Greek music in the background and very clean. Service was great as well. Nothing fancy and great for an evening out with friends or a great resturaunt if visiting the City. A frieind and I go on an annual shopping trip every November for 4 days, we ate here 2 evenings. This is a keeper!

Great Greek food
They have all the classics: things like moussaka, souvlakis, and myriad appetizers that Greek food is known for. The platters are the best deals on the menu, coming with excellent fries sprinkled with cheese (called Greek Fries, naturally) and a side of salad. The portions are hefty and the price is right. The few times I've been to the place in person, it's been just as good. They have the place set up so it feels like you're in some Greek taverna, with blue and white tablecloths on all the tables. Service is fast and friendly. The perfect place to grab a few friends to wine and dine.
