I used to love the Greek Kitchen, which was a reliable neighborhood place for good, reasonably priced Greek food. Something happened. They've added posh new dishes to the menu (I've tried a couple of them, they're not good; and they're overpriced). Shame if they continue in this direction.

Definitely not my idea of a night out on the town. Fine for take out. The ambience is pretty charmless, then I was given a burnt, dirty menu which did nothing for my appetite. The food was okay. The grilled octopus tasted good but was cut up in small pieces, the salads were nothing special, the eggplant dip was fine. I wont be returning

The staff is gracious, food is delicious and fresh. Reasonable prices for such excellent quality food. Feels like a taverna in Greece! Lovely!

I was in the mood for Greek food but too lazy to go to Astoria so after a quick search i ended up here. What a great find! Tzatziki spread and octopus apps were so delicious. As a main course i had the mousakka which was the best i've ever had! Service was fast even though the place was almost full. Will definitely recommend Greek Kitchen.

Between the slow and lax service, the mediocre appetizers & salads and just ok mains, I definitely would not reccommend this place to a friend. However, if you're desperate for passable greek food in a slightly-better-than-blah setting, knock yourself out .

Highly recommend this restaurant. The take out is also fabulous. Chicken Slouvaki platter is my favorite. All the dishes are excellent. Very clean, great service, quick delivery, arrives hot
