They have been here for quite a few years and their service and prices are still good.

I'd bypassed Great Wall no. 1 a few times based on the multitude of offerings within a few blocks. That was a mistake. This is BY FAR the best chinese in the neighborhood. It's nothing to look at, but everything they prepare is delicious and fresh, and delivery is quick. Their general Tso's is my new fave, and for a decadent treat get the fried calamari - it's more a traditional asian salt and pepper style - not the regular prefried frozen stuff. Also chicken fried rice is a standard in the lunch special if you're looking for a change from the regular pork.

They must have read my last review. In the past year they made several changes. NO more TEX-Mex ...BOOOOO. You dont know what your missing. Chinese food is still superb, BEST in Greenpoint, quality and price. SERVICE is now very good. Busy or not you get fast friendly service. Food style altered to your taste without any argument.

I like to get take out from here when I don't feel like cooking. My boyfriend and I each get one of the combo meals (they will make mine with tofu), and its 16 dollars with tip. They are usually at our door within 20 minutes, sometimes less. We never eat at the actual restaurant so I can't really attest to what the other review said, but with us they are super fast, and its very tasty.

Food is freshly prepared to your liking. Staff is friendly but kind of slow. They take the order quickly then stroll around the open kitched for what seems like for ever before they prepare your order. Even if they are empty and the phones are dead. Prices are average for the neighborhood. If your not on the run the food is worth the wait.
