Great Italian American Food
Can we stop comparing every Italian restaurant to Italy? The food here is Italian-American. Brooklyn style. Also it is really delicious. I love this place and go there every time I am in Clinton Hill. I dream about the lasagna.

Viva Graziella's!
I'm downright shocked by all the so-so and negative reviews. I have had nothing but fantastic experiences at Graziella's... So much so that my sister in law is hosting her rehearsal dinner here. The staff is awesome, the food (and yes, I'm a bit of a foodie...) has never disappointed and it's definitely one of the best most reliable places in the hood. It's not cheap, but it's not overpriced and even though I live out of town now, I come back when I'm visiting.

Love the sausage
Foodies? Oh please! The food scene in this neighborhood is so pretentious lately. Graziella doesn't have much in the way of atmosphere, that's a fact. The staff has never been rude but the service can be slow. However, they have great lasagna and the sausage that comes with the spaghetti and meatballs is amazing. I've been to Italy and loved it but I still enjoy this place for what it has to offer.

Poor service, overpriced food
The staff here, in particular their manager, is one of the rudest, most disrespectful people I've ever encountered at a restaurant. Our party waited for over an hour for 1 pizza and 2 salads and then the manager had the audacity to get angry with me and say that its typical for patrons to wait at least an hour to an hour and a half for food! He was nasty and didn't offer to make things any better after we expressed how hungry and disappointed we were with the wait. Additionally, I think their menu is incredibly over-priced for what you get. I will never go back, there are plenty of lovely family-owned italian restaurants in the area.

Good brick oven pizza option
I've only had Graziella's as delivery. I've learned to stick to the pizzas which are not disappointing. A little pricey and slow on delivery, but I don't know of any other brick-oven pizza spot in the hood.

OK, not great; foodies would be disappointed
Tried Graziella's for dinner on a Friday night recently. The place was fairly empty, but service was pretty slow. The roof deck, which could be amazing and gorgeous, looks like an unfinished construction project. Don't know why they decided to water the hanging plants DURING dinner service, as it was quite annoying to have plant water dripping on us. The menu is heavy on the cream sauces, so there's not much in the way of lighter fare. Also it's a bit pricey for the quality of food. A plate of mediocre pasta shouldn't cost $14. Overall, the food was not bad, acceptable even, but not outstanding by any stretch. The ambiance is what's most off-putting. I felt like I had been transported, back in time to the 80s, and to some distant suburb where pedestrian Italian-American fare is all that's available as far as "Italian" food. But I've had the enormous pleasure of dining throughout Italy and never once encountered heavy, creamy, oily pasta. So, for the unsophisticated palate Graziella's is decent. Foodies might want to skip it.

Great Place: What's with the complaints
The food here is fantastic. It is one of the few places worth eating at in the neighborhood. I am not sure what all the complaints are about.. I never write reviews but had to weigh in because I love the food here. I never tried the pizza the pasta dishes keep me coming back.
