My BF & I had a 10pm dinner reservation. (We were also guests of the hotel.) We arrived a few minutes early and the manager said they'd have our table ready in a few minutes, to have a seat at the bar, the hostess would grab us. 45 minutes later, it's clear they forgot about us. We checked in again at the host stand and they admitted they forgot but offered no apology, said it will be another few minutes while they prepped the table. When the hostess came, she blatantly YAWNED while looking around in clear view of everyone sitting at the bar, didn't cover her mouth. She lead us to one of the smallest tables in the middle of the room, while there are plenty of cozy unoccupied booths. The night is topped off by servers rushing us during entire meal from the moment we sat down because at this point, the dining room was emptying out and it was obvious they wanted to end their shift. Servers and bussers were stopping by every few minutes asking to clear our plates when we had just gotten our food, or just grabbing plates w/o asking. It was embarrassing. We didn't want to be rude or the last ones there so we rushed through our overpriced dinner (which was underwhelming and bland.)

The ambiance is romantic and classy with the fireplace, dark wood and red velour booths. The menu has a great selection for starters, main dishes and sides; there is also a variety of dishes for vegetarians, which was great for my sister. Everyone at the table enjoyed the dishes they ordered! I ordered the scallops for my appetizer and the duck for my main course; both excellent. I highly recommend this place!!!

Our dinner at Grape and Vine was absolutely amazing! As soon as you enter the restaurant, the layout feels warm and inviting, and the décor beautifully designed. The staff was friendly and professional. We started off our meal with a dozen East Coast Oysters; which were great. The Yellowtail Tartar and the Seared Maine Scallops for appetizers are a MUST! The yellowtail tartar was light and fresh, and the scallops melted in our mouths; both dishes had wonderful combinations of flavors going on. For entrées, we split the Panko-crusted Fried Chicken and the Braised Short Rib. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside – this dish came with Mac & Cheese and Collard Greens which we devoured. The Braised Short Rib was tender and the cocoa-cinnamon sauce was delicious – this dish came with baby turnips which I’ve never had before and loved and thin fries. After consuming all of this we were full but wanted to try some items on the dessert menu... If you want your mind to be blown… get the Molton Chocolate Cake and if you want a lighter companion to share with that mind blowing cake, see if the Tiramisu is available… it’s a special so it wasn’t listed on the menu. Grape and Vine was a great dining experience and we look forward to eating here again and again!
