Not Worth It
I went to this place because they were highly reviewed by channel 7 Eye Witness News. My first visit was very nice! Nice, clean place, great servers, food was decently cheap, and some what tasty. Second time I went, the food had gone down in quality, but I thought nothing of it since the staff was so super nice. I simply thought they were having a bad night. Third time, which was just this week....made me realize, it's not worth coming back to! My Geo Fries were soggy, the beef gravy was more like brown goo, and the cheese was a generic, cheap, plastic wrapper type of cheese. My medium rare burger looked as if it had hemorrhaged, and the pizza, my friends ordered, had a crust that was soggy, half raw, and very doughy...with an extremely sweet sauce. Plus, it came to us somewhat luke-warm! We did not complain, after all you get what you pay for! Sad to say, this place is not worth the word of mouth it has. I am somewhat surprised at the great reviews it has received. Honestly, the pizza was one of the worst I have ever had in my entire NYC life! BUT, I have to admit, the staff is super sweet, kind, and accommodating...just wish the food was as great as the staff.

So Good.
This place is amazing! I get delivery from here way too often. And the people who deliver are so, so nice!

The burgers!
Eat the burgers! They make fresh patties with fine beef, and my gosh, you can taste it. Fresh fries too! Wonderfully friendly staff as well.

If you don't go here, you are a jerk
My gal and I bought a restaurant.com coupon here and were skeptical, it seemed like a take out place that was probably gonna be whatever, but boy were we wrong. We brought a bottle of wine and sat down and the owner was the nicest guy ever. The ceasar salad appetizer we got was amazing, the croutons tasted like french toast. then we got a pizza with spinach, ricotta and tomatoes, it was insanely good, but we were so full we only ate two slices each and didn't even get to the vegetable lasagna we also ordered until the next day at our jobs, and we each texted each other saying something like "damn huh?" on top of the quality, we got FREE zeppoles and the owner was one of the best parts. he cares about his customers and watching him run his pizza shop is like an snl sketch. we have since (in less than 2 weeks) ordered take out from there twice and been back in once. this place has changed my life.

Note - did not try the pizza! Famed for their fries, so we ordered the pizziola w/ meatball. The fries were undercooked (they are cut very thick) and therefore impossible to eat. We took a couple bites and threw them out. I think if they had been cooked properly, they still would not have tasted very good w/ the toppings as it was all VERY bland. Chicken parm: the spaghetti was waaaaaaaaay overcooked - the noodles had swelled up with water, completely unappetizing, so we threw them out. The chicken itself was ok. Will try the pizza next time, but will never again order anything else.

The best pizza I have ever had in brooklyn
I have to say the food here is beyond amazing. My husband and I grew up in Brooklyn and we have tried several italian pizzerias , but grandma rosas blows them all away. Not only is the pizza amazing but everything else on his menu is delicious too. We have tried pretty much everything on the menu and we have never been disappointed. Even my 6 year old who is even more of a picky eater then I am loved everything shes eaten. The serving sizes are huge, always lunch for the next day and the prices are extremely reasonable. Our family now lives in Mass and we make sure every time we visit we eat there every night so we can get our fill of grandmas rosas until the next time we visit.

Friendliest people; great food!
My first experience of a New York Pizza restaurant was at Grandma Rose's. It did not disappoint. The meatballs, sausage and home made fries were to die for. Grandma's pie.... Fabulous. I will be back and telling other UK visitors to stop by. Thanks to the Riccos for the warm welcome.
