Great Szechuanese food
Have eaten here a few times and have never been disappointed with the food. The mapo tofu is amazing, with a perfect amount of spice and not overly salty as is that case at most Szechaunese restaurants. The cold noodles with sesame dressing and chilli peppers is amazing, chewy, flavorful, filling. Sure, the place is not much to look at, but you're here for the food, not the decor!

Spicy food that Mao loved
Almost all of the dishes on Mao's favorites are terrific--try the duck with bitter melon, the Gung bao chicken with potato, the sour long beans with minced pork. Of the cold dishes, the ma-la tendon is especially well prepared. And the tea smoked duck is always popular. Crowded and hectic, but friendly and fun--and great food!

Hurt so good
This is Szechuan cuisine so the chili is the star. The food is so hot but the flavors are so deep and good. It's addictive. I love the duck and the cold appetizers.
