My new go-to delivery place. I've been searching for a long time and haven't been happy with any of the places I've tried in the neighborhood. It was a huge relief to find Grand Sichuan. Lunch Special is about $6 with 2 choices from soups (hot & sour- my fave, egg drop, wonton. Other to choose is vegi fried, white or Brown. I like pork and I fave is L15, Double Cooked Pork. I think pork is lightly boiled and then, sir fried with leeks. The sweetness from leeks and fatty pork texture work beautifully with hot peppers. Since this is heavy side of dish, I choose Brown rice. Hustle-free delivery guys are nice.

I've been here several times and have always been satisfied with the food and service. I am not the type to usually leave reviews, but I left my phone and the staff were really helpful and volunteered to use their phone to call it. I would definitely come back for the food, but the phone incident, and the honesty of the staff will make this place one of my top choices.

Ok, so the food here is not as good as outposts elsewhere in the city. However, for authentic szechuan cuisine this is the only bet in the west village. I really like the pork and cabbage soup, gui zhou chicken, chinese broccoli, and fried rice (light in color as it is supposed to be!). Szechuan peppers are yummy though somewhat tongue numbing. Delivery has always been fine for me - within 30 mins. Also, orders are arrive hot without any mistakes. My only gripe is the eggroll which is small and greasy and definitely not worth $2. They should really take it off the menu or reduce the price.

I am a patient (= repeated customer), Sichuan-loving food-lover. Sadly, although I love both the St. Marks and Chelsea branches (where you can order "mala" and actually get an extra-spicy meal), this one just can't get it together. I live in the neighborhood so am stuck - it's still the best Sichuan in the WVill, but is always disappointing. For example, soup dumplings all burst, always.

The Kung Bao chicken was amazing. Not your typical kung pao. It wasn't saucy. They add sweet potato which balances the heat. Also, they had szechuan peppercorns to give it an interesting bite. One of the best chinese dishes I've ever eaten!

I loved the food on 24th st but after giving them way too many chances this one is awful. Food is spotty at best, service awful, workers rude, sorry Grand Sich strike 3
