Great for chinese delivery and great sushi delivery! The salmon avocado roll is delicious and every time I've gotten it the avocado is ripe and delicious as well as the salmon. And standard delicious chinese delivery too!

Walking in and seeing the X-mas decrotation in the middle of October made me feel like I was at China's North Pole.... (they were left up from last year) The lovely Elf (casher) was so un helpfull and un able to talk to. While we were there they decided to mop the floor with hard core bleach while we were standing there lol.... trying to kill us.. I felt like I guess santa will notbe coming to out hous this year lol... I would try a nother place.

Food is good, and to comment on sushi and the atmosphere, I actually like both there. Sushi is decent, I get it there often. It's not a bad place to eat in, it's clean and spacious. And they do give you free stuff if you order over certain amount (not sure how much though so I'd say over $20).

I've lived in the area for a while now and order food from Grand Eastern frequently. The food isn't nearly as good as a decent Chinatown place, but it's the best cheap Chinese in the immediate area - far better than its neighbors on Madison and further up Lexington. The Japanese menu, however, is just not very good. Don't bother with the sushi. As an added bonus it's one of the cleaner Chinese places, so I feel safer eating there. Recommended if you are looking for a quick meal, but if you want truly great Chinese food you'll have to go downtown.

The food is really cheap and pretty good. Perfect for someone on a students budget. Definitely do take out, not the best place to sit and eat. We ordered food for two late night on a Friday (about $20 worth) and they threw in a ton of free stuff like egg rolls and wonton soup.
