    wonderful experience

I just enjoyed an amazing dinner at this restaurant. We were greeted by a gentleman playing piano music and singing along. Walking in we were not greeted right away which seemed questionable but once I walked over to the waiter, we were taken care of and seated. We ordered wine and were given the specials for the day. I didn't even bother looking at the menu once I heard grilled calamari over arugula and tilapia stuffed with crabmeat and shrimp served with vegetables and a lovely sauce. We started with the yummiest garlic bread and then had our meal. We finished with tiramisu and coffee. The meal was really great. I'm not sure why other reviews were so unfavorable but I will be sure to return to this warm, friendly and delightfully delicious establishment.

    Not so good

It's just an another Italian restaurant. Nothing is special about this place.

    Not recommended

My husband and I tried this place tonight. I wanted to like it, but unfortunately, it is basically food made from canned ingredients, or frozen, and microwaved. We dine out frequently, and this is some of the worst Italian around. Overly salted. Mushy clams, ad limp, fried zucchini. Would love a nice Italaian place in the hood, but the food doesn't cut it.

    Mediocre at best

I ordered delivery. Perhaps that was a large mistake, though I now have no intention of dining in. When ordering, speak as if you were talking to a child, as no one seems to speak English. My order was technically correct... I asked for pasta with chicken, and recieved a oil and butter drenched butterflied chicken breast, and was charged full price for a breast of chicken. The caprese salad was full of unripe tomatoes and unwashed basil. I asked for balsamic vinegar, and got red wine vinegar. The desert was fresh from the freezer (store bought). At least the delivery guy was fast, so... stick with the basic basics, and have VERY LOW expectations.

    Excellent restaurant - a secret

This is a fabulous place. It is a great restaurant. It is one of three restaurants and they are cozy, great food and the staff/owners treat you to a real dining experience. It is a great, great experience and highly recommended. If something is not on the menu and its requested in time - they will make it. They have a Golden Lobster dish that is outstanding. This is a place that I enjoy going to and recommend highly. This is the first review that I have ever posted - I feel that strongly abou this restaurant.

    Eh

Delivery was fast, service was excellent. Unfortunately, the food left a LOT to be desired. The pizza tasted okay, but the texture of the crust was way too bread-y and soft. I like a nice, chewy, crusty crust - and this was not it. The gnocchi with pesto sauce was...near inedible. The gnocchi was so soft that it felt like it wasn't fully cooked...with a soft, slimy texture that was just really unappetizing. And the pesto was VERY heavy on the basil and tasted like it had only been slightly cooked thru so that the basil smell was overpowering. Maybe that's the way it's supposed to be and will be appealing for somebody else, but I couldn't get past the overwhelming smell and the slimy texture. On the upside, the garlic bread was delicious...but probably won't be ordering from here again.
