Ordered an over priced meal it arrived an hour and a half later with no napkins or utensils. The bread was burnt and my two pasta dishes were tastless. Do not recommend this place to anyone.!

Service was the poorest I have ever had. Angry waiters. Had to ask for napkins. food was luke warm. I could go on and on. Will never go there again.

I order takeout, the food came quickly. This the second time ordering, but I was disappointed again. I gave a fair shot but the restaurant failed. I order two orders of the spaghetti with meatballs, mozzarella stick, two orders of garlic bread. They sent two containers with plain noodles, no sauce, no tom or anything you would expect in a sauce. the mozzarella stick tasted like they were store bought from the freezer section at the market. The meatball were small, tasteless and I'm not sure it was real meat or they overused the bread crumbs. The garlic bread was really just regular bread with some greasy mess, and the bread was so hard, I threw it away. NO MORE Chances From me

I keep wanting to like this restaurant's food but am constantly disappointed. I ordered takeout again and thought I would stick with the basics, so I got chicken cutlet parmesan and garlic bread. When it arrived, I was shocked to see that the dish had no tomato sauce on it! What Italian makes this dish without sauce? I had to open a bottle of store bought sauce and put it on. The side of pasta was bland. The garlic bread...2 measly pieces not very seasoned. This restaurant needs a new chef. You can get better chicken parm from a pizza place!

I live in Harlem and Piatti d'Oro is our go-to Italian staple for takeout and dine in. The food is better than at Settipani (although SP beats it hands down for ambiance), and is also a better value. It is the best you'll find above 110th St, and they DO try hard to please their customers. I give them two thumbs up for Trying Hard in the Hood.

I just enjoyed an amazing dinner at this restaurant. We were greeted by a gentleman playing piano music and singing along. Walking in we were not greeted right away which seemed questionable but once I walked over to the waiter, we were taken care of and seated. We ordered wine and were given the specials for the day. I didn't even bother looking at the menu once I heard grilled calamari over arugula and tilapia stuffed with crabmeat and shrimp served with vegetables and a lovely sauce. We started with the yummiest garlic bread and then had our meal. We finished with tiramisu and coffee. The meal was really great. I'm not sure why other reviews were so unfavorable but I will be sure to return to this warm, friendly and delightfully delicious establishment.
