Great place to eat
I've eatin in this restaurant several times and the food was great and the service is rolling. The people are very nice there. They take their jobs and responsability very serious and make sure that all the customers are happy when they walk out of the door. You are always greeted with a smile and that's one of the reasons that brings us back to eat there. Excellent food and service

Not recommended
I was very disappointed at this diner that i had heard so much about. I had expected much more then what i actually found, what I though would be a typical dinner was even less. The service was very poor. The food was less then average for a diner of this kind. To top it all off, the customers that resided there, who were mostly rowdy drunk, were even ruder then then the service. I guess the only way I would suggest this restaurant to you is if you were a drunken adolesant at two in the morning. Even then, I might not advise you to go there.

My favorite diner!
Gracies is my favorite diner in the city because anything you order from there is fresh, delicious and of good value. My favorites are their chicken souvlaki and greek salads. The people there take their jobs seriously and the food is unbeatable! Such a gem.

The classiest diner around.
It doesn't get much better than this for a diner. Very polite people who are experts in dealing with drunk customers, they keep the water refilled and the fryer on all night. The hangover food is top knotch, with special consideration going to the canadian bacon, fried egg, and mozzarella on a bialy, and the idaho chicken wrap being a close second.

Great comfort food
We order from here all the time - great typical diner food that tastes DELICIOUS! Shakes and a cheeseburger are our standard, but we've tried others and everything has been great.

Going Greek is Great!
I have lived around the corner from this gem of a diner for over 20 years. There are lots of goodies here to be had. Best Greek Salad in Manhattan, maybe in New York City. Another great dish is their broiled chicken. It is of the highest quality and absolutely delicious. Standard fare such as hamburgers, cheeseburgers, eggs, pancakes and French Toast are all on the upper end. Bacon is always crisp and not at all greasy. For dessert--a wide array of pies with delicious coffee. You can also get a belgian waffle topped with frozen yogurt and fresh fruit.
