Unbelievably poor service!
I have never posted here before but wow, I just tried to place an order at this diner. The guy rushed me through the order, when I asked how the vegetables were prepared he was obviously annoyed and short with me. I am a diabetic so I need to understand how each dish is prepared. The conversation wasn't long, I'm not kidding, 1 1/2 minutes tops! After sighing, raising his voice, and rushing me along with comments like "come on sweetie, they are just vegetables", he hung up on me before I could place my order on a credit card. I called back right away and he picked up the phone, told me to hold on and then without apology, huffed and asked for the number.

Love it!!
I love this place because not only is the food great and the phone people nice but the delivery is fast! I wonder if they have psychics working the phones already having your order on paper because I swear these guys are quick! I work near by late at night and once I make a call - pow! seems like only a few minutes and they're at the door.

Favorite Neighborhood Diner
My family and I have been a patron of Gracie's for as long as I can remember. We love the great diner food, and friendly people who work here. The menu is extremely extensive, offering all sorts of meals. Gracie's is even low-cal friendly, the health conscious can find egg white and fat free options. The service at Gracie's is amazing. If you eat at Gracie's at 3pm or 3am, you are guaranteed friendly fast service.

Cute and casual
I've been eating here for a few years and have always been satisfied with anything I've ordered. They have a nice breakfast menu on the weekends - I like the apple french toast. Little known fact: they make some of the most amazing chocolate milkshakes on the UES.

Exactly the place I hoped to find :[]]
It's not fancy just your average corner diner with American classics and more. The prices are reasonable, the staff is kind and welcoming, and you'll always have a glass of water filled to the brim. I always get the chicken souvlaki with Greek salad and fries it's massive, lots of leftovers for lunch the next day. The quality of food is refreshing lots of nice vegetables, Greek olives, fresh feta, etc. Easily my favorite diner in NYC. If you're looking for familiar food that's always consistent, check it out Gracie's.

Consistently great
By the looks of it you wouldn't think this place was so great, but it's def. the best diner on the UES that I've tried. I order in from here all the time. The food has always been great, no matter what I've ordered and very rarely has an order been mixed up. The service is always ridiculously fast...as soon as I hang up the phone, it seems my buzzer is going off. Rain, snow or sleet. NO joke! My favorites are their burgers or breakfast menu.
