Gracie Mews Diner

It looked nice and it was late, but the food was poor. My order came incomplete and when I finally flagged down a waiter to refill my water and add the salsa he came back with a tiny plastic container filled with something suspiciously resembling barbecue sauce in consistency, color, and taste. The burger and bun were soggy too... definitely never go back considering the fact that there are other diners around...albeit without the high ceilings and decor I suppose.

We absolutely LOVE this place! It's great for meeting up with friends for brunch, lunch or dinner (or a late night snack). It's bright and light. Service is quick and food is delicious. I've been there thousands of times and have eaten is many other diners as well, but nothing compares. Recommended: Fries, Grandma's Pancakes, Linguine Bolognese, Four Seasons Omelette.

Excellent! Calling it diner food is an injustice. The fish is as good here as anywhere (broiled or grilled-for fancy go to Le Bernadin). Fresh vegetables and a good salad complete the deal. No better value for price and quality (as well as quantity) on the upper east side.

This is a typical 24 hour diner. The food is subpar, the staff serves just as needed. Why go anywhere else?

One of the many great diners on the upper east side. They just expanded to the space next door so its twice as large as it used to be. The food is great. Diner food yum! Egg and cheese sandwhiches and burgers are delicious. And its open 24 hours! So go there late night for a yummy snack or for brunch! Don't you forget the upper east side rules when it comes to diners! You better recognize!
