24 hours and great
Everything is great - the salads are overpriced, but all else it great. Burgers are excellent. Onion Rings unreal and the chicken dinners are a great value and very tasty. Service is a bit slow, but the hostess is always on his/her toes. Most importantly it is clean -- unlike other diners.

Best Diner on Upper East Side!
I have ordered in and eaten at this diner and i have never been disapointed. I have ordered the Tuna Melt, Chicken Caesar, Wraps and Vege Burgers among the big menu. Everything has been great and fresh and they give you great portions. If you want a great Diner, go to Gracie Mews you will not be disapointed

Fantastically delish
Yummy omletes... try the low cholesterol, the caprese or the italian. mmmm, salads are too expensive for what you get and the avo is oftentimes not ripe, but why order a fancy salad from a diner? Order the fries and or home fries well done... mmmm, and definitely go with the mimosa for sunday brunch... oh baby.

Best Value yet
I have eaten at a lot of diners in NYC. Gracie Mews is by far the best value I have encountered. The menu is so diverse it's overwhelming but you can always count on them having anything you desire. The Greek dishes are great - motzah ball soup is delish - the breakfasts cannot be beat. Sure the service can be inconsistant but service not why you go to a diner - right? RIGHT - the food is good and a great value. I will go out of my way to go there. Late night burgers never disappoint.

"The Mews" is the best diner in the city
The garcie mews diner on 81st street and 1st avenue is absolutely the best diner in New York City. Ranging from great chicken ceaser wraps, decadent waffle sundaes, and in my opinion one of the best burgers the City has to offer, "The Mews" serves as a great local Diner. Do not let those words make you hesitant however, for Gracie is more than any mortal Diner, it towers over any foogayzee restaraunts in the yorkville and greaert east side area.

Pretty good for a diner, and great value
We live close by and eat here (and order out) often. The food is good, and the service is friendly enough for a diner (if a bit slow). Try the rosemary chicken. The best thing is that an entree comes with soup, salad and bread, so it really is a heck of a deal. We give it a thumbs up.

Diner = Gracie's
Gracie's never lets us down. The staff treats all as family, service is insanely prompt, and they make the best chocolate banana milkshakes in the world. Busy at all times, yet there's always a seat and never a wait. The perfect diner atmosphere.
