    Former Fan

The last three times I have ordered form the restaurant they have messed up the order and done nothing to correct it. I used to be able to recommend them with out reserve, I think I am on the hunt for a new diner for delivery now.

Subpar service & should have listened to the last review!

Gracie Mews food is your standard diner food fare. Nothing special, nothing bad, but we've gone to them for years when we wanted a simple breakfast . However, after today, we are done! The man who took our order was rude beyond words. We advised him we had a 15% coupon & he yelled back that everyone had the same coupon. When placing our order he was rude, impatient & hostile. Never again will we patron our local diner. So, to the manager/business owner of Gracie Mews, NYC diners are a dime a dozen & with this economy, you don't want to lose good paying loyal customers. Remove the man answering your phone calls immediately before you lose even more!

    Worst Lunch Experience

I work nearby and didn't have time to go my usual salad place so I stopped in here. The amount of ingredients that they put in the salad was minuscule and then they had the audacity to charge me for double portions! My small salad was almost $10 for romaine with 3 ingredients! When I ask about the amount they argued loudly and quite rudely with me. The whole experience was just awful and the food is totally not worth the attitude. When I started to eat the salad I tasted how most of the ingredients were not fresh at all! SAVE YOUR $. So many better options... don't let the convenience of their location be a factor because the food & service is sub-par. All my coworkers hate it there and have had similar experiences. I should have headed their warnings and was naive to think it would be different for me.

    Instant favorite

I moved near this diner recently and I can see that it is definitely becoming my new favorite place to eat, whether eating in or taking out. Great food, reasonable prices, friendly and quick service. The soups are excellent and the lunch and dinner specials are a great value.

    this place rules

I have been here so many times at probably every hour of the day- sunday brunch, drunk at 5 AM on a weekend, mid-afternoon, and it has never disappointed. Everything on the menu is amazing, I love the gracie frittata especially. A neighborhood classic and the best diner in the area for my money
