Best Italian
The best branzino in NY bar none. The menu changes here often but not the favorites like the lobster fettucine WoW or the seared sea scallops, Duck confit pizza w fried eggs, roasted beet and goat cheese salad and many other unique dishes you don't find in most Italian restaurants on the UES or anywhere else for that matter. Kudos to the creative chef and wonderful friendly servers. Keeps getting better with age time I wrote about it. Only negative is it is very crowded all the time.

Great salads and mains
Our dinner was really wonderful. Several salads that were first rate. Lobster pasta was great, and others had fish. Do not order the cheesecake which is not made in house and is bland.

consistently wonderful
I have been dining here for 12 years. it is finally time for me to compliment the entire staff at Grace's without getting into drawn out details. The food and service are outstanding time and time again. Most New Yorkers who love Italian food know and love this place its been around forever, if you haven't been your missing out

Fantastic
I eat all over the world thanks to the business that I am in. I get to entertain clients all over the world. I usually take them to 3 or 4 star places but not when I am in my home city of N.Y.. I take them to Grace's and they all thank me. Why ? because they feel like they are home in warm surroundings eating wonderfully prepared foods, with very friendly servers. Many deals are closed at this under the radar restaurant.

Won't miss not going here again!
I like football as much as the next guy. However, this is NOT a sports bar! The owner/manager had a private party last night and rather than take over the whole restaurant totally 'took over' the atmosphere with noisy rude behavior. Our dinner ( although food was OK ) was ruined - the servers were embarrassed and couldn't do anything about the situation. Plenty of other Italian restaurants in the neighborhood - won't miss this one.

Child friendly
I've never reviewed a restaurant unless I had a complaint until now. Having two very young children under the age of four my husband and I always settle for sub par meals at places that cater to children. We had enough and decided to try Grace's hoping our children would behave and we would feel comfortable. We had heard the food was delicious. We went early just in case and were greeted by a warm, welcoming and friendly staff. They do not have a childrens menu but offered small plates of pastas, pizza and french fries for the little ones. We had a fried calamari to start followed by a huge lamb shank and an incredible lasagne. Everything was excellent but most of all we felt comfortable and had a great meal. I suggest it to all you parents out there who find themselves in a similar situation with young children.

Great Place!
Had dinner with my fiancee at Grace's last week and it was great. That lobster pasta is to die for, Megan had the scallops and was also very pleased. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive... If you really want a great meal this is the place to go, prices aren't that bad.
