    What happened?

This pizza used to be the best in the area. I've had a terrible experience the last three times that I've ordered delivery and pickup from there though. One time I received various slices put into a small pie. That sucked. The other time the Grandma's slices had cheese was congealed. Gross. This last time the pizza tasted like Palmolive soap. The cheese was definitely from some wholesale, budget Sam's Club. I'm so bummed, Gotham. :(

The crust was excellent, crisp, fried like light and not greasy at all. The sauce was perfect, had a fresh tomato tang, not to chunky, not to saucy, cheese was fresh with basil, also had the grandma slice both awesome...

    Well, I never...!

Had a pie delivered; not a long time but not quick for 3 blocks away. Cost tad more than other pizzerias in neighborhood. Tried Sicilian ($18.95) which was good. Enough tomatoey sauce, decent amount of good fresh cheese, OK size but not big, crust not thick like most Sicilian pies but only slightly thicker than regular pizza. Only complaint and a big one is that entire pie was limp and soggy?! How does freshly made pizza get soggy in 3 blocks? Were we the last of a bunch of deliveries? Even so, I’ve never had limp crusted pizza—not one slice could be hand held. It was as though a fresh pie had been made, left out and then microwaved just before delivery. It was still warm but the taste was lacking in a soggy pie. Will try once more because if it had been crispy and burnt, it would’ve been very good.

    Good, not great

My friend and I walked by and noticed that they had a $4 lunch special - 2 slices and a fountain soda. Most of the other pizza places nearby have the same special for $5, so we decided to eat here. The pizza was good, but not great and I am almost sure that the slices they give you with the lunch special are not the same slices that you would get if you just came in and ordered a regular slice. There is a 99 cent pizza place about a block away from here, and the pizza there is actually better, so I most likely won't be coming back here.

    Great place for a slice

Go there for lunch 7-10 times a month, never had a bad slice. Lunch special is a great deal.

i'm sorry, but this pizza is not good. delivery was very timely, but the pizza is devoid of taste. spend your money elsewhere.

    Great pizza, bad phone etiquette!

The pizza is really good, my favorite on the UES; however, whenever we call to make an order for delivery the guy on the phone is SO RUDE! It doesn't stop us from ordering from there, but come on guys....be a little nicer to your customers on the phone!
