Best Irish Beef Stew in Town
I had a Meal Ticket which entiltled me to a large selection of food from the Menu. The Irish Beef stew is too die for!!! the Mashed Potatoe so creamy, large servings washed down with an ale or two, in an atmosphere Bar/Sports Bar. The Service was absolutely genuine with the resounding Irish accent dished up with friendly service and background noise. Highly recommend will definately make a return visit. Credit to Chef.

Great Irish Food
The food is flavorful and delicious. The service is quick and the staff are friendly. The drinks are reasonable. I would recommend it for dinner or drinking with friends/business partners.

Not a nice bartender
I went there after dinner to watch the game. There was only 2 other people at the bar. Three of my friends decided to join me. We had several drinks and my friends ordered chicken fingers. I am not sure what the bill was but we ate and drank plenty. I am allergic to gluten (which the bartender knew) so I couldn't eat anything off the menu so I grabbed ONE bite of bread (gluten free) that was in my bag and the bartender starred me down then jumped all over me like I ran out on the tab. He was rude and I will never go back there again.

One of my fave Midtown spots!
t is one of my go-to spots in Midtown. You'll be hard set to find a bar/pub/restaurant environment with quality food, good service, nice ambiance and at such reasonable (for Midtown) prices!! The Gossip Spicy Shrimp is their best appetizer! And they serve a humungous portion! They even give you bread to sop up the sauce. So sometimes I'll just order this as my entree with the bread for filler...shhh..... :-) The Steak Salad is flavorful and well-plated. Just beware, my gluten-intolerant lovies! I went here with a friend who has Celiac. Everyone in the kitchen thought the dish was gluten-free. But it's not! I think they use a glutened soy sauce as a marinade for the steak. Not sure. But otherwise it was very nice and cooked exactly as he ordered it! The Shephard's Pie is yum (close to the way I make it at home!) and HUGE! Two dinners in one right here! Same with the burgers. GARGANTUAN! I've never had one that I didn't like...especially since they usually have certain burgers that come with a pint! And one time they had a blackened catfish sandwich which was so good that I went against my nature and wouldn't share with the table! It was just TOOO good to let a single bite go! I always go home very full and with leftovers. I've brought multiple people here and now they are regulars. You won't be steered wrong at Gossip!

Gossip eggs
The gossip eggs are so good and the price is so cheap. I was nicely surprised the first I went there with my husband and our baby. I've been getting those eggs for the last year every single week end. The staff is really nice also.

Pleasant Surprise
The wife and I dropped in Gossip by chance on the way to a play having no idea what to expect. The food was great and plentiful. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the food was prepared quickly. The atmosphere was "NY neighborhood" at its best. In short, Gossip was a very pleasant surprise.....

Nice midtown brunch place
The food is good (except our pancakes were undercooked, but the omelette was great!). The server was good and the prices are very reasonable for NYC. This is a good place to go for brunch if you are looking to have a relaxed atmosphere and watch some sports or just talk.
