A hidden treasure
We've been going to Goodies for years, in both locations, and the food easily rivals much of what we've eaten in Hong Kong and Shanghai. Soup dumplings as good as Joe's Shanghai without the wait, good Peking duck, some of the best shrimp I've ever eaten. The new location has zero atmosphere, but go for the food!

Eh, nothing to write home about
The service was fast. The prices are decent, and the food was good, but not amazing. Had General Tso's chicken, fried rice, egg role and steamed dumplings. The dumplings were really what I didn't care for, they were over steamed to the point of being almost like plastic.

Great Staff!
I recently ordered food for delivery. The staff is excellent! From the woman i spoke to on the phone to the delivery guy, everyone was very friendly and helpful. Delivery was fast and the food came steaming hot and fresh. I would order food again from Goodies.

The Best Chicken Wings
I went there the first time unknowing what i would find but to my surprise the appearance isn't so welcoming but the Chicken wings and fried rice were delicious and fresh not oily or dry like in other places. ps the staff is wonderful

Very disappointing!
Ordered chicken with broccoli and the chicken was very dry and poor quality and had a very bad after taste. Yuk! Ended up eating only rice and broccoli. Also, the chicken and broccoli were covered in way too much brown sauce. Never again!

Great food in a tiny space
Goodies moved from a much bigger space and now looks a little like one of those bad chinese restaurants. Fortunately, the food is still great. Soup dumplings, sauteed veggies, spicy chicken and beef with hot peppers are all excellent. And JoJo is a persistent saleswoman but delightful

Wonderful Chinese food!!
I started ordering from Goodies over 5 years ago, when they were located in Chinatown (1 East Broadway). The quality has been consistent across the years -- the food is excellent and is always fresh, and portions are large. Service is great. Love the soup dumplings, wonton in hot sauce, and crispy duck! I hope they stick around here as long as I live downtown!
