Ok so i did read a review that they took for ever to deliver so I timed the deliver....... about 45 minutes to deliver on this Sunday evening. I ordered the edamame dumpling..... which I knew couldn't compare to Buddakans famous ones. I thought the peas would be mushed in the middle bu tthey were whole. More like edamame shumai. I also got the salmon salad. The salmon was cooked well very tasty the rest of the salad that had odd things in that i didnt even know what they were called i got scared of lol. The lettuce and spinach was fresh along with the broccoli. I can't vouch for the rest of the weird ingredients. I also order the chocolate mousse cake. Said it was dairy free and egg free ...... I was excited to try it. I found the mousse ( a watery chocolate colored topping) it was sour! I don't know what this was suppose to taste like but i didnt think it would be sour so i got freaked out and figure maybe it went bad i dont know... so take this review as you want.... maybe there are other dishes that are better.....

I have eaten here many times as well as ordered for delivery, and the food has been amazing. I highly recommend the bbq tofu w/vegetables - it's fantastic. The staff has been friendly all times too. It's a great place if you want to stick to a healthier diet, and there is a large variety of food on the menu to pick from as well.

Despite the very diverse mostly-vegetarian menu drawing from Mexican, Italian, Middle Eastern, American, and Asian cuisines, this small restaurant consistently provides excellent service and incredible quality. Some of their combinations are a little funny, but the flavor is spectacular. For example, I tried their "Mexican Fiesta." I laughed when I found a carrot in my enchilada, but it worked. Tonight they won me over completely by playing Frank Sinatra music in the restaurant. I'm not a huge Frank Sinatra fan, but it made for a great atmosphere.

I have ordered for delivery here several dozen times. The food always comes hot and is consistently delicious. Their edamame dumplings and sweet potato soup are addictive. The pecan-crusted seitan is unbeatable and it's helped me stick to a healthier diet.

Try it! You will get hooked. I order it once a week at least. Also, brunch on the weekends is awesome.

I started ordering from this place and enjoyed the food. Two days ago I place an order at 8:00 and when my food had not arrived an hour later I called up to see what the hold up was. ( I live 1 block away) They had told me that they were very busy and my food was on the way. I offered to pick it up but they had told me it was sent out. Another 45 minutes passed and I called back. When i had asked where my food was, they again responded that they are very busy. They then asked me what my order was and then told me there was a mistake. I asked then why did you tell me an hour ago that it was on the way. Their response once again was that they were very busy. I got nothing resembling an apology. This place does not know how to treat their customers. I will never go back or order and have told others to stay away.

...to prevent too many people from learning about this amazing hole-in-the-wall. I'm not drawn towards vegetarian or macrobiotic foods, but this restaurant remains among my favorites. The cooking is simple and excellent, with extremely fresh ingredients (especially the produce), more like you'd find in northern California than upper Manhattan. Servers are unusually accomodating, even once running next door to pick up a drink for us when we asked for a beverage they didn't carry. And the small, cozy dining room (about 10 tables) always has good mellow music playing, at a volume that doesn't impair conversation.
