Yum -- Veggie and Non Veggie Heaven

This place is absolutely fantastic - for veggies and non-veggies alike. Funny enough, I was initially scared off by the "health food" aspect (you know, so healthy it tastes like nothing), but ordered based on the reviews here. What a great find. Now I order all the time. My veggie and non-veggie friends always are impressed and agree. I've eaten in once and the atmosphere is so so, but delivery is quick and friendly.

    Pretty good

I had dinner there couple weeks ago, it's a small but cozy restaurant. It has that cafe feel to it. They serve pretty good food.

    Smiles

I love the food here. I love the Asian lady always gives me free stuff, she is awesome!! This is my spot almost everyday for lunch, always with an iced green tea or iced red zinger. The delivery guy always brings a smile to my face.

    I was very impressed

I wanted something different but healthy so I did a search. After reading the reviews my co-workers and I decided to give them a try. WOW! You should have heard the ooo's and ahh's. Everything was very fresh and so delicious. The portions weren't huge but that's ok. It was filling all the same. I ordered the salmon pitas with the sweet potato soup and a side order of grilled veggies. I couldn't even eat the soup. I was so intrigued by the pita and the grilled veggies. They looked so tempting . I just had to try those first. I tasted the soup but that was all I had space for. I took the soup home for dinner. I definately have a new lunch spot. Delivery was relatively speedy. Can't complain there. All in all, can you tell how I rate Good Health? lol.

The nicest staff on the UES

I love this place. The food is good, and a great value for health-conscious eaters. I often get the brown rice pancakes with tofu scramble for brunch, which are really nice. The soups and salads are always good, and I recommend the tofu club sandwich as well. But the reason I always come back here is the staff. The phone staff and delivery ppl are the nicest I've ever come across. They really create customer loyalty to this place.

    Amazing

Everything that I've ever ordered from here has been incredible. I am vegetarian, and so far the vegan burger is my favorite. Also try the banana cream pie for dessert if they have it. It's out of this world! Have only ever ordered delivery, so I can't rate the atmosphere. The only thing that wasn't spectacular was the hummus. Great staff for phone orders.

Tasty, filling and good for you too!

A friend brought me here and at first I was afraid the food would be all bland and cardboardy, the store name being "good health" and all that...but I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty the food was and I found myself coming back again and again. The sweet potato soup is creamy and filling, burgers, pitas and entrees are all tasty, and try the lemon mousse cake. Value is good especially for the Upper East Side. Best thing is, after you eat, you feel full but not heavy and greasy like some other restaurants, because the recipes are quite healthy!
