banana chocolate chip cake with peanut butter frosting is the best!

I've been here several times and have generally had pleasant experiences. I ordered the banana chocolate chip with peanut butter frosting cake for my birthday it is definitely a MUST TRY! Everyone raved about it and even friends who did not join my celebration asked if they could try a slice (from my left overs). The fries are also super amazing!

    About the delivery service...

I forgot to mention, which should have been the tip off- The first time I called, I was put on hold for over two minutes. The second time, I was asked if I could be put on hold again. If you can get past the five minute outgoing message, you stand a chance to get a human being on the phone. But perhaps this loooooong message is their way of discouraging you from ordering take-out. Be afraid. Be very afraid...

    Surprising

I've eaten brunch here many times and would recommend it. However, this evening, wanting some organic chicken, I decided to order in dinner. After waiting approximately 45 minutes for delivery, it arrived cold and undercooked. It was probably the worst and most flavorless chicken I have ever eaten, and bordering on OLD. When I order organic, I expect better. Honestly, the best part of this dinner was the pre-washed (I hope) lettuce that they included, which was their version of a salad. A huge waste of time and money. I only hope the dog likes it.

    glad we found it

My husband and I were out at Zabar's a couple of days ago and just wanted to find somewhere to sit down, eat warm food and get out of the cold rain. We decided to try Good Enough To Eat and we were both glad we did. No, I don't care for the country decor but the staff is so friendly and the food is good. We both had the Macaroni and Cheese, and it's one of the best I've had in a restaurant. Most places give you something flavorless and call it Mac and Cheese because it's cheese colored. This place has REALLY good mac and cheese. We also liked their listing of hot chocolates with liquor. The Cinnamon Kiss was very good and their hot chocolate tastes homemade, definitely not a mix. Their prices could stand to be a little lower, but the quality is high.

    It's alright, I guess.

I went to Good Enough To Eat for a Saturday brunch after it was recommended by a friend. I read the reviews on this site before I went and kept them in mind as I soaked up the atmosphere and ordered my pumpkin french toast. A friend from out of town joined me there and the wait in line wasn't that long for 9:45A in the morning. I'd say about 10 minutes, tops. The wait staff was seasoned and honest. When asked about the pumpkin pancakes, the reply was an honest, "you can't really taste the pumpkin in them too much". And that held true for my french toast as well. I expected more in the way of flavor and overall tastiness, especially because it's not a cheap place to eat. But, it's not expensive either. So, my friend and I left with a sort of "Yeah, it's an alright place. Coffee was good."

    I order over the phone

Food comes fast and hot. I order via phone for the past few years too many to count.

Didn't measure anywhere near the hype.

Went for brunch the other day. After a half hour wait, we were seated outside. Had the farmhouse breakfast. The onion and dill toast was nothing more than thick sliced toast... no dill or onion at all. The eggs were very small, which was disappointing considering how cheap eggs are. The country sausage was pretty good. Had a side of home fries, which were ok, but way too oily. The bottom of the plate had enough oil to cover the entire plate. And oh yeah, one of the bus boys spilled a used glass of water on my leg and walked away like nothing happened. Don't bother with this place..
