    Nice Saturday Brunch

I was scared to see such a long line outside the restaurant on Saturday morning around at 11:30am. However, with a small party, (Mine was a party of 2) the wait was not bad at all. (About 15 min or less) The service was very quick and nice. Food was good, too.

    Meh. Just meh.

The food was ok. the pancakes were really nothing special. It was packed on a wednesday morning at 9am and they stuck us at a shady table behind the counter. I mean overall it wouldn't be terrible if it wasn't for the service. The waiter was just rude. He was cold, and didn't seem to care. He got upset with my friend because he didn't speak english very well. Seriously when you're serving less than diner quality pancakes at double diner prices you can't afford to be like that with customers. won't go back.

    Best Breakfast Place on UWS

I've lived on the UWS for 6 yrs and this is my favorite place for breakfast. Don't be put off by the long lines at the weekend as in my experience they move quickly. The staff are always nice and friendly. The menu choice is fantastic and unique. The only downside is that it does get a little too crowded sometimes and some of their seating is not so great. The American homely decor is cool too. If you are a visitor or have out-of-towners to entertain for breakfast this is a perfect choice.

Just about good enough to eat

This was one of our favorite brunch places in the city, but our last visit was a bit of a disappointment. The food wasn't that great and a waiter was having an unsavory conversation right next to us. Still, it's a night enough place to go and the waitstaff IS very friendly. I just don't know if I will make the trek down from Inwood just for this place again.

About the delivery service... another view

Like NYCya's comment, I was put on hold for 2-5 minutes, but I really like the vmail that gives all the specials. (yes, it's long but much easier/efficient than having to ask everything.) Even though I had to wait to order (which I kinda expected since it was dinner time), it arrived in less than 10 minutes (I live 7 blks away) and was piping HOT. Everything was just as I ordered. That's what I call great service! I also love eating in - although tend to avoid the more crowded brunch times. The waiters are really busy but are always nice if you are nice to them. I also love the causal un-hyped atmosphere. And yes, the bacon is AMAZING. As is the mac/cheese. We love this place.

    Really Good Brunch, Healthy Options

Really good food, feels wholesome and is really tasty. Decorations inside are really cute. Breakfast dishes are all good. The bacon's amazing. Waiters were really nice. It was super crowded for brunch but worth it.

    Get their Omelettes

I have been going to this place for Brunch (and occasionally for Dinner) for a number of years. I've mostly stuck to ordering their omelettes--not because I don't like to experience new things, but because it's really their best offering. Their pancakes and waffles are okay, but it's really their omelettes that shine. Their omelettes comes with two biscuits and strawberry butter, and a slice of orange. The biscuits and butter are out of this world. I've had friends who are even more amazed by the b & b than the omelette! An omelette will run you between $9.50-11.25 (plus tax & tip)--and considering the whole package, it's a great way to spend a cozy weekend Brunch.
