    Good Enough To Eat

Amazing desserts. Definitely save room for the massive pieces of cake and though they may seem pricey but the amount def makes up for it.

    Not good enough...

We used to come regularly to this restaurant because we enjoyed the quality of the food and service, but over the past year it hasn't been good enough to justify its name, as our latest (and last) visit reminded us. On a Sunday night, the restaurant was nearly empty, we asked to be moved from the smallest table in the room to a bigger one, the manager wouldn't even try and change our seating, because she "might have a group of 4 people coming." Then, she returned to her chat with other staff members. Of course, no groups of 4 ever showed up that night. Silverware was dirty. No adequate cutlery for fish. Food was bland and it seems it has been a trend at this restaurant over the past year. Rude staff, overpriced food.

The restaurant is so cozy and cute, I really enjoyed the atmosphere, the daily specials were very tasty...and are unique...it's comfort food but better than I remember...the only thing I did not like was the spinach that came with my entree (it was really saltly and dry). We stayed for about 2 hours, and our waiter was great about giving us time to eat each course and to just relax and have fun. And we were able to behave like we were at home....meaning we tried eachother's food, and eat the appetizer with our fingers.. The prices are high, in fact higher than a lot of really elagant restaurants in this area. But I am dying to go back to try the breakfast.

    Good enough to skip

The food is at best mediocre. The service entirely depends on who is your server. It changes from exemplary to terrible from person to person. However, their pies and other desserts are very good. If you want to stop by for a sweet bite, this is your place. For anything else, you may want to go somewhere else.

    Good Enough To Wait

We call it good enough to wait, because even though there is always wrapping on to the street, it is well worth the wait. Whenever I have friends and family in town I always take them there for a wonderful brunch, and when they come back to visit they always ask to go there. Everything on the brunch menu is great. Their banana pancakes are extremly good but I am particle to the BLT omellette. If you are a veggie person the Gramecy Park (apples and cheddar) is the way to go. But if you like meat you have to try the bacon. Don't be afraid of the line outside, it will be worth the wait.

Breakfast here is great! I like the apple pancakes and their biscuits with strawberry butter.

    Good food, poor service

Or maybe it was not our lucky day. Halloween day, 75 degres outside, such a nice place to be! Except that the waiters were rude. They were dressed up for the occasion in outfits that would make the Gay parade look boring, which is fine if you have the right attitude. But they weren't smiling, they made us feel like we had to eat fast and get out of there, it was terrible. Food is delicious but too expensive for the service you get. To me, this is priceless.
