Almost 2 hours to receive my food

The delivery guy was extremely apologetic when my food was almost two hours late, food was wrong order when i got it, ordered stew chicken, and received OX! yuck.

    Good Stew Peas!

The stew peas here is soooo good but only sold on Tuesdays and Thursdays :(. It sells out pretty fast, oh and be sure to walk in because their delivery takes forever.

    Great Jerk for your Chicken

I've been a customer of Golden Krust since I was going to school in Downtown Brooklyn. Its not the best among other Jamaican spots as far as jerk chicken and patties goes but its definitely worth it for the experience. Its a great way to get your friends into Jamaican food. I know i fell for it! Jerk On!

    Oh Happy Day!

I had no idea that Golden Krust was just around the corner from where I live. Now I go there to get a home cooked meal if I get there early enough from work. The women behind the counter are the greatest! They give each person the same delightful service and make sure you get what you want. Get there early to get your choices - they sell out pretty fast. But no worries, you can always get something else instead of getting the same thing over and over again. I am in heaven.

    From a non Jamaican

I got the Jerk Chicken meal and it along with the rice and peas were a bit dry, but the flavor was good and there was definitely enough of it to make you full. I almost passed the place up, not expecting it to be as small as it was. The counter area was cluttered with boxes and the lady at the counter seemed a bit standoffish.. Could have been a bad day, but her demeanor seemed to brighten up with the customers that were Jamaican. Oh and be prepared to pay with cash, even though they have credit card signs on the front door and registers, she said they didn't accept cards.

    Makes my tastebuds dance

The food at this little hole in the wall is exceptional and makes my day a better place. There is such variety on the menu that I eat there at least three days a week. One thing, though, the fish soup would be better if not made with Salmon!
