This place is great. The food is always good,reasonable and the service is fast, fast, fast. The owner takes pride in his restaurant. He wants to know if you're not satisfied so he can improve it and make it up to you. Try the boneless ribs, the best on the LES! Shrimp and lobster sauce fantastic. Everyone loves the chicken and broccoli here. No ambiance but I will admit I have dined in and have enjoyed the company of the staff.

Best cheap les take out/delivery

I don't know what happened to the last reviewer's food (maybe b/c they ordered the day after a major snowstorm and staff was missing?), but this place is consistently very good. I've been ordering from them for almost 5 years. I am very picky about my wonton soup -- wontons MUST be very thin, and these are! Beef lomein, very good and crab rangoon is never greasy. Also, they have friendly phone order takers and speedy delivery, as long as they aren't swamped.

The delivery came relatively quick but the food was bland. The lo mein and egg roll were flavorless. My stomach illustrated it's dissatisfaction later. Take my advice and stay away.

I was after the classic Chinese takeout and got it here in great form. Chicken with broccoli surprisingly nice for what can be a mundane dish. Ribs are flavorful. Lo mein good, not too greasy. Totally satisfied.

I live just a block away and i order GF at least 3x a week. The delivery is fast, the staff is personable and very hlepful and polite. The food is incredible. I grew up eating at my friends chinese restuarant and in his moms kitchen and this takes me back to that exactly. I recommend the sesame chicken, fried pork chops, chicken nuggets, beef lo mein, egg rolls, roast pork fried rice, really I've never had something from here I wasn't totally satisfied with. The value is amazing. I love Golden Forest. Go there with respect and you'll be in for a real treat.

After ordering this dish at Golden Forrest I can't eat it at any other place. Ask for it mild or spicy, they will make it to your liking!!
