I'm not a vegan. I'm not a vegitarian. I didn't even like tofu before gobo. The food is divine. And I don't know why people keep saying it's expensive. Appetizers are 5-7 and a price fixe item (the MOST expensive of which is 10 dollars!) is just the perfect perfect. I order delivery from here about once a week. Everything is delicious. I cannot stress it enough. You won't be disappointed!

... Because I keep spending moolah at this place! The previous reveiwer musta hadda bad night. Perhaps the chef had a bad night? No, I think the reveiwer just has a terrible pallet. The food here is consistently delicious and the portions are adecuate for a normal sized belly. Yes, a bit pricey (basically gourmet vegan chinese food) but then again, you can always go right next door and have the McVeggie burger in highly depressing surroundings under bad light.

My boyfriend and I tried a few things, but it was all very bland and average. Not disgusting, but not worth paying the prices. And the service was a joke! We had like 3 different waiters that kept forgetting about us, and at the end when the waiter gave us back our change, he owed us $15 and only gave us $1!! So my boyfriend had to go tell him, and when he came back it was still a few dollars short. We just decided to drop it and leave. I won't be returning.

Choose wisely, yes the juice is good, but don't order $8 juice and then act surprised when you act end up paying $8 for juice. I never understood why ppl complain about prices after ordering... but don't order the lettace wrap. Order the roti canai, the different dumplings or scallion pancakes. Mango nuggets are amazing! Any noodle dishes are great and affordable. Go to gobo!

I love how the lunch specials run until 5pm. The eggplant & string beans in basil sauce was delicious, and so was the braised tofu in black bean sauce. Everything is so well spiced and marinated, the tastes should cater to even those who are non-vegetarian. Their juices are also delicious and very healthy. Portions were definitely a satisfying amount.

I've been here twice now, both times for lunch. Yes, the atmosphere is nice, and the servers are friendly, but the food is average and the prices are insane. Eight dollars for a glass of juice? Eleven dollars for a lettuce wrap appetizer? If you're resigned to going, stay within the lunch special limit: Dinner entrees will set you back nearly $20/person.

This is distinctly a grown-up restaurant, with sophisticated dishes for a crowd that is more yuppie than hippie. Which is great, and it is lovely to be able to go for a nice meal out or business dinner to a place where your guests may not even notice that they haven't had any meat. Good wine list too, and a nice sleek ambience.
