I just came from Go Sushi on 51st and 9th. I have to say I was not satisfied with the service I was given as a customer. First, I was disrespected and cut off by the cashier when I was trying to place my order. Then, when I finally ordered my bubble tea after he was ready, he quickly made it and when I tasted it I was very disappointed--given the fact that I've had bubble tea many times before. I asked if there was any way he could make it sweeter and he handed me packs of sugar. Anyone who knows anything about Bubble tea knows that to add flavor, you do not just simply throw sugar in the drink. I do not recommend this place to anyone and nor do I plan on ever returning. The tapioka pearls also known as "bubbles" were also very hard to chew on and seemed frozen, as if they'd been sitting there all day. Overall, I received poor quality. I am sadly disappointed by the drink and the bubbles which look like something has been growing on them. My mom has also ordered from this store and felt the sushi was not fresh--similarly to my bubble tea.

Affordable and easy
I go here a lot because of the reasonable bento boxes that you can get for $7-$8. The food is fast and easy. The sushi is gross, the slabs of fish taste like thick rubber skins, and their miso soup is salty. That's why I stick with the bento boxes. The staff are serious and mean. This is a good place for cheap lunch/dinner.

i got some sushi about two weeks ago, it was not good at all. it tasted like it was made at least half a day ago and not kept cool. all the fish smelled a bit and I could actually not eat the tuna. i dont know about their other meals, since i've never come back after that experience. but there is always people sitting in that place, so it has to be ok.

Best Soup Value
We live in the 'hood and get the Go Big Soup at least once a week. You want to be impressed go to Nobu. You want good food cheap at your door? This is it.

Cheap & Yummy
The food is cheap & yummy. Fish isn't the freshest, but it's great value. Their noodles are pretty good, too. Plus their delivery is super fast & polite.

There was once a time when these places filled a need, but that time is long gone. Now, every neighborhood in Manhattan has multiple decent, cheap sushi places. For the same cost, or maybe up to $.50 more per roll/piece, you can get much better quality and value at numerous other establishments all over town; there simply is no reason to go here. As for the sushi itself, it's not too good. As for the rolls, they're encircled by a dense, thick layer of cheap rice that is a sure sign that they weren't made any time recently. For what is essentially grocery-store level quality, this stuff should be even cheaper.
