    Great brunch

A neighborhood staple. We've been for dinner a few times and the atmosphere and service might be a little better than the food, which was above average but not amazing. It's intimate and relaxed. Brunch, however, is consistently great. Surprised there aren't more good reviews.

    average at best

I arrived for an early dinner with my wife and as soon as we entered we were told they weren't ready for dinner. The bruschetta on the menu stated "tomatoes and garlic" however when the bruschetta came to the table there were only onions in the bruschetta, no garlic at all. Yea I know brushetta a usually comes with onions but if your gonna list every ingredient in it you should include that one. The waitress was very unhelpful. I had to ask for water and it was warm. I order spaghetti and their wasn't much of it sauce was average. My wife had the Rollatini the sauce was good but the chicken was tough. The waitress came to the table once and that's because I turned around to look at her then she said "did he just look over here" with a sigh. Not only was the food mediocre the service was the same, the staff stood by the bar and spoke loudly while ignoring the two tables that were dinning. When we mentioned that the bruschetta stated garlic, and there was none but it had a ton of onions she rolled her eyes and told us "well that's what bruschetta is made with onions and tomatoes" We came from staten island to eat here, we've been here before and it was good, for brunch; however, this time was awful and we will not be returning.
