Went there yesterday with my recently purchased Groupon. Remember they will charge 25% gratuity on top of original value of Groupon + taxes . So, for two people I purchased a Groupon for $49 (value was $170) and then I had to pay them $30 extra for gratuity & taxes. This place is small & smells a lot. Their air-conditioner dosent work efficiently. Food quality was so-so too. Staff is good and friendly. I think owners really need to work on the interiors and need to freshen up this place.

The wine is corked, tastes like a blend of vinegar and mildew. The service is sluggish, the glasses are dirty with lipstick and fingerprints from previous customers still lingering on them. The sauce on the shrimp Fra Diavolo was inferior to Ragu. The steak over spinach was the one redeeming element, but not enough to justify the high ticket price and lack of attention to detail. This is New York, people. Come on! Can a place like this really expect to compete? Do not be lured by the Groupon. In fact, I'll be thinking twice before I do another transaction from Groupon.

I purchased a groupon for $39 wine tasting for 2. and then i read the reviews. i was so worried and considered canceling but figured lets just go and get it over with. my friend and (two 40 yr old gals) we enjoyed so much! the pizza delicious, and the wine tasting 10 pours plus a bottle each to take home was amazaing. i learned so much and enjoyed the wine education. i highly recommend. it was well worth it. my friend and i pleasantly suprised! can't wait to go back with our spouses for exclusive wine tasting.

Did a bloom spot wine tasting with antipasti. Awful mediocre wine. The antipasti was soggy pizza, some cold cheese and a slice of stale salami. This was not worth the amount paid $39.00 for $108.00 value are they kidding! The establishment clearly looking for short term profits. I will never visit that place again.

The wine tasting here is a TOTAL ripoff. Don't waste your money. We were told it was a hundred dollar value. Judge for yourself: ten sips of cheap wine; one pizza, two small plates of cheese, and one small plate of sausage shared by 21 people; and a wine "expert" who shared such gems as "The best place to grow pinot noir is Oregon." When we asked if she had heard of Burgundy she looked perplexed and told us Oregon was the best. For real? The worst part though was when we picked up our free six dollar bottle of wine and were told that we owed then $10 for tax and tip. Clearly business isn't great, but the owner squandered a great opportunity to use the tasting to develop new customers. Wouldn't go back if you paid me.

We went to a livingsocial wine tasting here that promised a winetasting, food, and 2 bottles of wine to go home. The space was small, hot and overcrowded. The wine was ok, the food some small cold pizzas, salami and cheese. Not enough, and not served, you had to push through the small room to get them. Again just one person pouring wine, and we had to push to get our taste. Worst of all, both bottles of wine they gave us to take home (at an extra $10 cost) were disappointing, undrinkable, vinegar.
