Great food, small tables
The food was really good, we had the Tuna and lemon pasta. If you are a seat stealer on the airplane that likes to sit next to me, you will be uncomfortable at Giorgio's. The table spacing is simular to the airplanes flying from LGA, you are packed into the dinning area with very little room to move. Food and service were good!

Spicy margarita is amazing
The food was good but the drinks and service stole the show. The entire staff was wonderful. The spicy margarita is my new obsession. We would definitely come back.

Wondferul suprise, a real hidden treasure
Dined here for restaurant week for dinner on a Thursday night. Despite being very busy our reservation was honored and we were seated immediately. The food was exception, and in very large portions. The tuna tartare we fresh and delectable, and the Fried oysters with spinach nicely spicy and rich. We chose the wine pairing at a very reasonable $15 for a nice pour for each of the three courses, and it was well worth it. The wines selected were outstanding and suited the food extremely well. My partner very much enjoyed his veal chop with potatoes au gratin, both cooked to perfection, and my seared Branzono with an assortment of Mediterranean vegetables was wonderful Service was outstanding, from the host, to the waited, bus boy, and above all, James, the Wine director and restaurant manager. We had a informative and wonderful ongoing conversation with James about the wines they serve, and received a small course on buying the right wines at the right price point at retail. Desserts were the decadent S'Mores Bread pudding and the trio of gelato with fudge more than satisfied with the Muscadet and Tawney Port. We will definitely return soon to sample the general menu. One of the best dinning experiences we have had in a long time! Hats off!

What apleasant surprise
As a New yorker I'm used to great food served with a bit of bravado a bit of indifference, yada yada yada,< So when I called and was greeted by a welcoming male voice I was pleasantly surprised. Cut to the chase, one of the best dinners we've had in New York. Perfect gespacho, the veal chop was not huge but savory. The mac and cheese was quite spectacular. Ice cream gelato was full of flavor. The service attentive, friendly, unobtrusive and warm. Was I in Milwaukee, or Omaha? No... just in a great restaurant in Manhattan that provides a great experience

Pretty place - food, egh.
The spring 2011 menu was not that exciting! For such a nice place I thought the food would be more exciting and springy... The buffalo mozzarella with apricot was good minus the toasted bread that it came on. Tastes like burnt charcoal. The Mac and cheese was good and the ravioli special was good, it came with 3 raviolis. Just nothing exciting. I was expecting like fresh seafood pasta or yummy salads... Won't come here again.

Great Ambiance, Mediocre Food
My friend and I had the dinner prix fixe (salad, grilled veal chop and gelatto w/fudge for dessert). The salad was average, both of us agreed that the chop was tough and tasteless. The "fudge" on my dessert was seriously one tablespoon worth. The bread pudding was spungy. The pasta dishes looked better, but we did not see that at the time we ordered. The atmosphere of the place is great: warm and welcoming. Service good to. But, ultimately it is the food that counts, and based on that meal, we would not return.

Wonderful Sunday Evening Meal
We eat here after seeing the Upright Citizens Brigade and had a wonderful meal. Wines are discounted $15 on Sunday's which was a nice surprise. Pasta was fantastic and s'mores desert was very good.
