I have never posted a review but the restaurant was so good that I had to. The host at this restaurant was amazing as was the wait staff. The decor and atmosphere was classy yet not snobby at all. This is definitely a great place to go as a couple or a larger group. They were able to seat a table of 8 on Saturday night with very little wait. Absolutely wonderful experience and will definitely go there again.

If this restaurant were in midtown or on the upper East or West Side, you would have to wait WEEKS for a reservation! The decor is subdued yet classy...the service is attentive without being intrusive, and the food is a visual delight and a taste treat. What's more, the price is kind to your pocketbook. We sampled four different dishes, and every one was superb. Tbhis is a place we'll definitely go back to.

Had dinner here last night and everything from the food to the service was outstanding! I had halibut with crab meat, and it could be the best fish I've ever had. We had the grilled calamari salad which was also wonderful. The waiter and host were both very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Everything was going well until server pushed us to have appetizers, even after repeatedly telling him we weren't that hungry. Ordered the seafood linguine which was only so-so. My friend ordered the Grouper Special, which she thought was excellent until realizing the entire middle of the fish was raw. I thought she was kidding so I stuck my fork in it, and it didn't pierce the raw flesh, that was shiny pink rather than flaky white. Could have forgiven this except after that the server neglected us for 30 minutes before another server handed us dessert menues. Then both servers took ages to get us our check. There was no reason to drag a nice meal to 2 and a half hours past our reservation time. Will not be going back.

I've been to Giorgio's about 10 times now- my review is long overdue.... the staff is always accommodating- the food is always solid- the wine list is great and the atmosphere is romantic- but not so much that you can't go with a group of friends. I continue to go back time and time again, because I have yet to have anything to complain about. The bill at the end of the night shocks me- I always double check-convinced they have left something off the bill- because it is always lower than I guess it to be. And the one item I never go without there- the roasted oysters- not on the menu- but always a special and never disappointing. And to top it off- they seasonal change their menu- never allowing their clientele to become bored. Try it out- you'll love it too!

Solid neighborhood place. Reasonable prices and good food. Had a minor incident with the food and the manager promptly came over and replaced the dish in question. He even gave us all desserts on the house!

Saturday evening my girlfriend and I stopped in a Georgio's on a whim. We sat at the bar and quickly decided to eat at the bar rather than wait for a table. The food took a while to come out and we noticed several couples waiting for tables for an extended time. The bartender was multi-tasking and we noticed several large parties in the rear which clearly slowed service to a crawl. The bartender treated us to another round of drinks before the food came. The salad was good, the tuna and other main course was terriffic. Because of slow service we were also treated to dessert and coffee. Other couples were similarly comped. Although the evening was long the courtesy of the staff was exemplery. I am confident that outside of the holiday season things are much more normal, and I shall return without hesitation.
