I have been loyal fan until today. I placed an order for delivery and received meat gyoza instead of my regular veggie gyoza. When I called them and explained I was a vegetarian and couldn't eat them they insisted that the gyoza was veggie and refused to replace them or refund my money unless I brought the food back myself. I'm not ordering here again. Vegetarians beware.

Been there a few times but most recent was not a good experience.

I've never eaten in the actual restaurant, I only order delivery and I always find the food to be very fresh and delivery to be quick. I highly recommend the hibachi dinners and tuna tartar!

I have to say, I love Ginza. I've been ordering take-out from them very regularly for a while now. The food is great for the price, and definitely the best of its price-range in the neighborhood. The sushi always comes fresh (I only order delivery of the sushi - if you want hot meals, go into the restaurant!). They come to my apartment on 5th ave and 11th street LIGHTENING FAST! The delivery guys are always friendly, as are the servers over the phone. They also have really affordable lunch specials during the week, and those orders come incredibly fast as well. Why I keep going back: great, fresh food, and incredibly reliable service. Doesn't get better!

At the expense of passing judgment .. who orders a "New York Strip meal" for delivery? Ginza is a Hibachi style restaurant and sushi bar so I tend to order sushi or noodles. If I want steak, I'll go sit and enjoy it in the restaurant. That said, Ginza is great as far as sushi. I order delivery regularly. They dynamite roll is really fantastic and all their sushi/sashimi is fresh. It can take a bit long to get to your door on some nights but once it does it makes for a great night in. Just remember not to order steak to be delivered from a sushi bar and I promise you'll enjoy it.

I ordered the "New York Strip" meal, and was shocked the portion size was ridiculously tiny (2 shrimp and maybe 2 ounces of cheap overcooked meat), the food was cold, the "salad" consisted of a handful of half-rotten iceberg lettuce, and the miso soup was mostly water. AND the delivery guy was rude and short with me.

This place has great, fresh sushi EVERYTIME. We take out or eat in literally once a week. The place is nothing special but the sushi is great and the service is good too- defintley try it out. Our favorite rolls are the dynamite and the valentine- I highly reccomend them!
