    I love Ginza

Ginza is the best sushi place in Murray Hill. It is always fresh, delicious, and arrives promptly. I highly recommend it!

Ginza, & Tiffany, are Simply Great

When i lived in Manhattan i went to Ginza at least 3 times a week. The lunch special is the best deal around, where you can get 2 or 3 rolls for a great price. The food is fresh, and the choices are plentiful. The service, especially Tiffany, are very kind and patient, and makes the experience enjoyable. The inside is small, as noted in other posts, with only about 2/3 tables and a sushi bar. But for takeout you cannot beat it!

    Great find!

I don't know what the guy below is talking about. After searching in vain for good delivery sushi in this area, I've ordered from this place many times now. The quality and quantity has always been great. It's a tiny place, so eating in is hard, but as far as delivery goes, this has been one of the best ones I've found.

Save your money! Go somewhere else!

Ordered $30.00 worth of sushi for a nice dinner for me and guest. Arrived promptly 15 minutes later. No complaints there. But then he handed me a plastic shopping bag and said enjoy. I knew there was a problem when the bag weighed no more than the bag I bought earlier containing 2 packs of chewing gum. Seriously, I have NEVER in my life seen such small portions I ordereed 5 rolls and they were able to fit all of them on 2 4X6 inch trays that were 25% filled with garnish. NEVER AGAIN!! Any place that takes advantage of hard working New Yorkers in such a dishonest way, should be shut down. Shame on you Ginza.

    All-round -- really good.

It's a tiny place -- more for take-out than dining in. Food is fresh. Selection and prices are good. And the staff is just wonderful. Friendly, attentive. They are warm and make it a priority to know their regular customers. They could teach some posh restaurants a thing or two about customer service.

Sweeeet Potato Sush! I DIE, in a good way

I was starving after a long day walking the city and decided to pick up some sushi from Ginza- it was 2 blocks from my hotel. The pieces were the perfect size- in my opinion- to fit into your mouth and not make a mess on a date, for example. They provide customers with the option of preparing rolls with brown rice, which is great for those in need of digestion boosters, and the order was ready in 10 minutes. Their green salad was not too icebergy like it is at some Japanese restaurants, rather it had green leaves, and the ginger dressing was sooo delicious and thick! I had an eel+cucumber roll and a boston roll (my usual). These rolls were scrumptious and fresh. However, I was extra hungry tonight so I threw in a last minute order of a sweet potato roll- which is tempura, however it did not specify on the menu. I was a little hesitant because of the fry-factor, but it was well worth the slightly longer wait and few more calories! The actual restaurant itself is teeny with seating for about 8-10 people total. It could be the kind of place you want to pop in and see if you can get a seat, otherwise, it's fitting for pick-up or delivery. However, if you are famished, definitely order more than three rolls and salad! There is not that much rice in the rolls themselves which I generally look for in a good sushi roll. The only negative thing about this is ordering many rolls to fill you will obviously rack up a heftier bill. So grab a large tasti d-lite for ultimate satisfaction. Honestly, don't tell too many people about Ginza, it's "hidden gem=-like traits" are part of what make it so top notch ; )
