The food and value at Gino's is great. Every time I've sat down and eaten the service is pleasant, but watch out if ordering from behind the counter! I agree with a previous reviewer that the two brothers who work there can be grumpy and can give major attitude, especially when close to the end of the day. Otherwise, it's a great place!

This place has a really nice setting, very good food, service takes awhile at times, but very authentic. I would highly recommend it to everyone. It's hard to find a restaurant that the food tastes great every time...this place is it!

This is the best for REAL old school southern Italian! Best in the city for red sauce pasta!

ive been going to ginos for the longest time now and they only keep getting better and better. the brothers that own the shop really now how to entertain their customers as you wait for takeout or a slice. the food is wonderful no matter what you order.

Some of the best Pizza and Pasta on the Upper Eastside, but the service needs work. the waiter seems to only work on one speed...SLOW!!! I highly recommend the place for a good takeout meal, but you better committee two hours if you want to eat in.

Superb pasta at pizzeria prices. Unbelivable deal. Both the brothers are tempramental. the waiter never seems to get the bill right. Random prices, so check the bill. Sit outside with your back to the brothers-it's the only way to ignore the service while eating fantastic food. They nicknamed this place, Angry Pizza!!!

Each time I have ordered from Gino's, the food has arrived within 35 minutes. The pizza has been piping hot, and the pasta very fresh. The penne a la vodka is delicious. I have never encountered a rude server as others have but I have also only ordered take out. I highly recommend Gino'sand to respond to some other reviewers who say that Totonno's is better (they are great too) it is just very different pizza. Gino's pizza is with shredded mozzarella, and is not a margharita pizza.
