Best Italian Food in Manhattan
I don't know what you people are trying but if you like salads so much why order from a place that has the best authentic Italian food around, go elsewhere. The Pizza is outstanding and the food is great like my grandmother made. I guess most of you are not used to real NY Pizza. The specials are outstanding. The staff is pleasant and friendly the wait is sometimes long but well worth it. It is better than most tourist traps that serve you from a pre- made pan rather then a fresh made to order plate. Not sure about the delivery but I see the men running in and out as fast as the orders come out I never see them sitting on top of the oven like most pizza joints. I have been eating at Gino's 2x a week for the past 8 years and have never had a bad slice or a dish i did not like.

Great food, great value
From the huge salad platters to the basics of southern Italian cooking, Gino's consistently provides delicious food and the best values on the Upper East Side.

Great local restaurant!
I love Gino's! You can't beat the food for the money. It is not gourmet Italian but it is delicious classic Italian food for a great price. I've read the reviews about the service but I have only had very pleasant experiences. Their pizza is delicious, by far my favorite on the UES, and their pastas are also great.

Good Pizza
Pizza reminds me of Rays. The famous one that recently closed on 6th & 11th. It was good oily cheesy large NYC pizza. Better than local staples up here like Mimi's. Service was fine when I picked up the pie and when I called to place order.

Poor service - decent food
I ordered delivery from this place recently. The food was decent but it took over 1 hour for my food to arrive. Absolutely unacceptable. I will never order from Gino's again.

Decent value..poor attitude
Couldn't figure out what bothered me about this place. First off, the Pizza can at times be very good..totally depends on when you go..very inconsistent. And the guys behind the counter(2 of them alternate) act as they could care less... They should have a big sign over the front door that says "Gone Fishing". God only knows how long they've been slinging slices and they have regulars milling about quite often. Bottom line, the prices are reasonable for the quality.. Just don't expect any love from the counter guys.....
