Best Wonton Soup Ever!!
This is one of the best Chinese restaurants that I've been to (and I've been to plenty). Their wonton soup is awesome. The eggplant is also delicious. The prices cannot be beat, especially for NYC. If you've never been there, you should give them a try.

Great Chinese food - would definitely go back
We grabbed some takeout here and thought it was really great. We had the chicken and broccoli and the chicken with mixed vegetables; the brown sauce was really nice (not too rich but very tasty), the meat, vegetables and rice were perfectly cooked and we even got some fortune cookies thrown in (always a winner). The service was very quick too. Portion sizes good value for money – we couldn’t finish our meals. We would definitely return.

Awesome!
This IS 1 of my favorite restaurants. service is great for the people who said the service was awful i have no clue wat ur talking about. If ur looking for some super fast service u might as well go to mcdonalds. Food is awesome, a wide selection of chinese food! food is just beautiful, the way they design the dish is magnificent.

Disappointed
After reading such positive reviews, was not expecting hectic, harried atmosphere, small portions and only so-so quality....

Recommend Going Elsewhere
I was excited to try this place when I saw the 4.5 stars for food. Went for dinner with 3 friends, and nobody really liked the food. The service was pretty slow, probably due to there being only 1 waitress for the whole place. You do get big portions, though.

Excellent Food, Excellent Value
I've been to Ginger's six times now and every time, I am not disappointed. Start off with a happy hour $4.00 drink (even top-shelf, like a Tanqueray martini.) The appetizers are non-descript, except for the mung bean noodles (spicy) which are quite good. The roast pork is fantastic and a true value. Excellent hot & sour soup as well as their "big bowl" soups. Another unique and excellent dish is the bean curd skin with preserved cabbage and edamame. Portions are good and nicely presented. Service can be a little inattentive after receiving your food, especially when the restaurant fi lls up. Considering their location, Ginger's is a midtown bargain. The restaurant is very tastefully appointed and is always comfortable. The kitchen is actually in the basement, so all meals are delivered via a dumb waiter. If you go downstairs (to the bathroom) you can look into the kitchen, which is very clean for a Chinese restaurant.

amazing hot & sour
soup and shrimp dumplings. Ordered through delivery.com and even though it said it would take 15 to 30 min., they were here in less than ten. Very good food!
