    Skip the salad

The pizza and pastas looked good, but I clearly chose poorly by ordering the nicoise salad. i expected grilled tuna, not canned. my friend's grilled chicken salad was similarly sad looking. also, the tables are uncomfortably close together and the service was lacking, to say the least. but i suppose it's hard for the servers to move quickly when they need to squeeze between the tightly packed tables.

    Best French Toast Ever

My son and I went to celebrate Mother's Day there. The place is in our neighborhood but somehow I never went there until that day. Extremely nice people; very attentive. Their fresh artichoke salad was good, and my son loved the French toast. A very clean unpretentious old style place with an up-to-date twist. We will definitely be back.

    Highly Recommended

Dropped into this restaurant on a whim on Sunday. The place was packed, but the staff was very courteous and managed to find me a seat right away. Excellent food and service, try the Focaccia Robiola which is exquisite...

I scheduled my daughter's 15th birthday dinner here and it was a total disaster! I planned everything with the General Manager and was assured that it would be great. His answer to every question was 'no problem, we take care of everything'. Unfortunately, he never spoke to the Manager that was on duty the night of her party to discuss all of the arrangements that had been made. The manager on duty was rude to my daughter and her friends (there were no grown ups at the party...which the GM had assured me was 'no problem' I asked if my husband and I should eat dinner while the kids were in the other room and he said 'no, no, no problem'. Well, the manager on duty made the kid's order more food than they wanted, tried to change the details of the party after it had already started, and made my daughter feel so uncomfortable that they left without having dessert. Instead of staying there dealing with the rude staff, they decided to go elsewhere for her birthday dessert. The night was an absolute disaster!

    Tiny, But Mighty

Gina may be tiny, but she is also mighty. I have had consistently tasty food here, from the avocado and artichoke salad to the fig and prosciutto pizza. While service can be a bit haphazard, it's never been problematic. Eating outside is especially recommended as indoors is a bit "squeezy." I think Gina is sweet addition to the 'hood.

    Great Pizza!!

Gina's is an adorable little Italian restaurant. I love the pizza (especially the prosciutto and fig) but the pastas and sandwiches are great too. I think this is a great place for a dinner w girlfriends.

I've been here a few times before and it was a bit pricey, but cute and the food was good. After lunch yesterday, I will not go back. My shrimp salad was quite pricey at $17 (5 small shrimp). When I asked if they could add a little avocado, they said sure. However, when the bill came they charged me $4 for 6 avocado slices. I could have bought 4 avocadoes for that (and actually did that morning). When I asked to see the manager, they could have cared less.
