I called to make a takeout order and asked for the Moroccan chicken. The guy who took my order said "mom, do we have Moroccan chicken today?" Turns out that this place is a family restaurant, and Gila, the mom, cooks all the food fresh every day! When the food arrivd, that's exactly the way it tasted; everything was super fresh and tasted homemade. The caramelized onions in the couscous looked just like my mother's, and even the rugalech were made fresh that day and were amazing! Recommended.

For those of you that don't know, Gila is the owner/chef. She is the one in the back making all the delicious food. Not only is the food the best Israeli food I've ever had, but she is also the nicest person you'll have meet! My friends and I stayed for an extra hour just talking to her and her son. One dish that I suggest you get if you try nothing else is the Shake Da Shuka.

Awesome food! Love the lamb kebabs. Owners couldn't be nicer. So glad this place opened up in the neighborhood. We really needed something like this. A+++

Ordered lunch for myself and dinner for 20 people at my office on separate occations. The food was both times amazing and Gila is a sweetheart! Real authentic food with really good quality

This quaint place isn't exactly what it seems to be. The restaurant looks like a friendly place and the owner are very nice. It's a very nice place and the people are lovely but this is a restaurant so that doesn't matter as much as the food. This is where this restaurant lacks. I ordered one of their chicken dishes and it was thirteen dollars for two pieces of chicken over Israeli couscous. This place is ridiculously over priced. Even worse is their food isn't even that good. The chicken I had was inedible, just two simple pieces of chicken with spices poured onto them. If I was any reasonable person who liked to eat good food and didn't want to spend too much money on nothing special then I'd suggest not eating here.
