Charming cafe
After reading other reviews, we decided to try out Gialeti's for breakfast. The food was good and the atmosphere comfortable, the only con that easily could have made this dining experience a 5 star review is if the counter person could have offered a smile while taking my order and money, instead of looking like I owed her!

Best breakfast & salad delivery
I discovered Gialeti's a few months ago on Seamlessweb & was surprised to find that they deliver to me, as it's located roughly 20 blocks from my apt. I was SO GLAD to find a "make your own salad" delivery place in Park Slope & when my order arrived, I was delighted to find that the ingredients were fresh & delicious. The bread served with the salad was also wonderful, and they even include a couple Hershey's kisses with every order. My boyfriend and I now order breakfast from Gialeti almost every weekend, my favorite being bacon, egg & cheese on a giant English muffin. SO GOOD! Everything I've had from there - sweet & savory crepes, pancakes, sandwiches, salads & even the fruit cup - has been delicious, fresh and delivered quickly. The delivery guy is always so nice & I even had Gia herself deliver once. She introduced herself and was so friendly; I could tell she really takes pride in her business & I'm so thankful for it! I hope to one day get my butt over to Prospect Ave to eat at the cafe. My only wish is that they stayed open past 5 so I could order dinner from there!

Great find! Thank god.
Gialetti's has now become our go to place for coffee and breakfast. Its hard to find a good place in this area where the food is really great and resonably priced. The breakfast is always fresh and I love that its run by 2 great women who live in the neighborhood! My husband and I take everyone who visits there for breakfast. And I try to find excuses to take a nice walk up there and treat myself to a coffee. Its a bit small and a little tight on the weekends, but thats good...It means they're busy. I'll admit the service can be a bit slow and unattentive but it wouldn't keep me from going back! I highly recommend them. Oh! and the peanutbutter cookies are TO DIE FOR!!! The best thing ever, don't leave without one!! I mean it.
