I took my daughter and tween grandkids there on a Saturday evening and they treated us wonderfully. My daughter and I ordered from the complete meal, each having a different lamb dish, which we both loved. Mygrandson had a hot shrimp dish and my granddaughter had a complete meal with chicked. We all loved the food, from three appetisers each, to the main dish to the included dessert. The tea was heavenly. In addition to the wonderful food, the team service among the wait staff was great. We wanted for nothing throughout the meal. Overall, I'd say if you're looking for Indian food in the Village, this is a great place to enjoy authentic Indian food and a very fair price with great service and atmosphere. Enjoy! Keith

Found this little spot on accident and is one of our favorite indian places. Decent prices, great food, and everytime we've been, we always get good service and a smile.

I've lived in the neighborhood for a couple years, and had all but given up on finding good hot vindaloo...I'm glad I kept looking! I just got take out and the lamb vindaloo was excellent and had solid spiciness. The naan was good, and it seems weird to say, but the to-go service was excellent. I got there a couple minutes before it was ready and they asked me to sit and gave me free chai, and were very nice while I waited. When the food came out a couple minutes later they asked me to please stay and finish my chai, and wished me a good night as I walked out. Great service + great curry = neighborhood winner

We are locals and go here quite often. The staff is beautiful and so friendly (they call us family). Great value, very good food, lo-cal (if that is impt) etc etc.

I stumbled upon this place while walking and gave it a shot. I've come to love Indian and this is probably my fav. place in the city. The space is small and intimate, the food and service are excellent and the location is convenient. Servers are always smiling and happy to describe anything on the menu. The food is mouth watering and I never leave with anything to take home! I highly recommend trying it and if you've never had Indian this is a great place to start.

I have been going to this wonderful gem in the Village for 6 years now and they never seem to disappoint me. I will recommend this restaurant to anyone for the location, price and taste.

This restaurant has become a regular for my boyfriend and I. I am vegetarian and he is not, and we both find the food here much better than several other indian restaurants in the city. Our favorites are the malai, kurma, and tikki masala. We usually order an appetizer or two, our entrees, bread, and they bring free papadam while we wait for the appetizers, and then after our meal offer small desserts and half mug of tea on the house. Service can be slow, that being said it is nice to eat somewhere where you can enjoy the food and conversation and not feel rushed. I love this place and go back everytime we are craving indian food!
