Cute place but food needs work
A friend had recommended this place to me. She mostly goes for dinner but I and two friends went for brunch. We all got huevos rancheros and we were all disappointed. The dish was described as having a homemade tortilla; but, the tortilla tasted like and had the thick doughy texture of a stale pita. Maybe we got the wrong thing or maybe I should try this place for dinner instead. It is cute.

great service, food needs some work
i had heard the brunch here was amazing. the dinner could have been better. the wine prices by the bottle were excellent. the service was also really great. the waitress was really helpful with ordering and taking care of us. the entrees took a really long time to come out and weren't as excellent as i was hoping. someone at my table said it perfectly. "this place is great on paper" i would like to try it again, but i might be dining alone.

Fantastic! We'll be back
We stumbled across this place when we were looking for a new place to try in the neighborhood and found a recommendation on chowhound. It was superb! We ordered the duck and the vegetarian board. The duck was delicious and a big portion. The vegetarian board -- which apparently changes every time -- was, as advertised, creative and delicious. The staff were extremely nice. We had great service, but also saw that when another party had to wait a few extra minutes (something I barely would have noticed as a member of that party), all four got a complimentary glass of prosecco for the (mild) inconvenience. The waitstaff recommended a delicious wine to go with our meal. On Saturday nights, there's also a live jazz band playing old classics at just the right volume. Overall, a great experience. We're looking forward to going back and bringing our friends!

fantastic lunch
Went with a group of 6 for lunch, food and service were fantastic....they couldn't have been nicer. The french toast is amazing as is the chicken sandwich on a pretzel roll. We are definitely going back....want to try dinner.

Craveable brunch
Seriously - the BEST steak and eggs I've EVER had. Usually I don't order it, but now I can't order anything else! And the truffled eggs are what dreams are made of! Make sure you bring someone so you can share. :) I love that they have a full breakfast menu with tons of choices every day (not to mention a side of a single pancake - too cute). Wish I still lived in Park Slope!

Way overpriced
I was there for brunch a few weeks ago and they were charging $12 (!!) for a not-that-large bowl of squash soup. I wanted to ask the waitress if that came with a lap dace. Overall, food was good but not worth the ripoff prices.

Scrumptious & Sweet, best Vegetarian Platter Ever
This is one of our favorite brunch spots in Park Slope - all local, organic ingredients beautifully cared for. Their personable, young chef, lovely waitstaff, warm, funky atmosphere, and really special food is always a pleasure. It's high quality cuisine with a low key vibe. However, they do not advertise their vegetarian dinner option on the menu, we had to find out from the chef. And we are sooo glad we did. This was the most sophisticated, flavorful, fresh, and handmade vegetarian plate - it was huge and arrived beautifully arranged on a raised wooden board. Order the plate off the menu - it changes nightly - even hourly - according to the chef's whims and the freshest ingredients available. This sweet little spot will quickly become your favorite - it's ours!
