I've been looking for an authentic stromboli place ever since i went to penn state - hazleton in late...well, a long time ago. this place takes me back. everything just blends perfectly. and the tomato sauce they give you, has a slight kick to it that just really gives it a nice touch. the chicken rolls, and grilled veggies are nice as well. the pizza surprisingly, is where they're weakest. i find it a bit thick and doughy. but overall georgios is always a good feed and good value

I ordered a cheeseburger with fries, and instead I got a hockey puck with a burnt bun. The fries weren't even salted. The only reason i gave it a 1 and not a 0 is that the food was still technically edible. The guy who took the order over the phone was also slow and impolite.

I'm a big fan of reheated pizza but this place is great for pizza right out of the oven. I don't know how they do it. It's the same pizza ingredients as the hundreds of other pizza joints in the city... same mozz cheese out of the bag, same sauce out of the can, and I guess the same dough. But somehow their pizza is really good. Maybe it's the crispy chewy thin crust. Don't get me wrong, this is no shi-shi or fancy pants exotic ingredients place. This is just a pizza parlor. And yet, this is exactly the kind of pizza someone from NYC wants. Get the plain cheese slice from a new pie right out of the oven, and you'll understand what I mean.

Great food. Highly recommend this place. I go there every chance I get.

I live around the corner from Georgio's. Georgios has the best Italian food and pizza downtown. The salads are great too. We've never had a meal there that we havent thoroughly enjoyed. The restaurant is clean and well managed, its a joy to go to Georgio's.
