Great value!
This hole in the wall coffee shop was SUCH a great value! From the minute we walked in we were taken care of- complimentary orange juice, giant plates of food, and great service. The employees were friendly and prompt. Would definitely go to George's again =)

the best breakfast
if your in need of a good breakfast georges is your spot. My favorite is pastrami western omlette. The service is nice and I would recommend this place to anyone that wants a good American breakfast....

One of the best pizzas & Italian Food
This is the best pizza place uptown. The calzones are awesome and the sauce that goes with it is delicious and you cannot beat the prices!

15 Years
I have been eating at Georges for over 15 years. It is the best Coffee Shop in the city ( I have been to most) The brisket (wednesdays ) the best I have ever had. go early for a spot or you will stand.

Hit or Miss
I've been ordering from George's for years. They usually produce cheap greasy spoon type food that is delivered in a flash. The guy who answers the phone is usually pretty gruff... he can always take or leave you basically. One day out of three, they will be out of some key ingredient, and one in five, they will get your order wrong. I never usually bother to call when this happens but today when the order was over an hour in coming, ice cold and wrong, I called. The owner was less than polite. They've lost a few customers over this one, but again, I don't think he really cares.

Simply amazing!
Went here for breakfast before a doc appt...returned the next day while the wife was getting prepped for labor! Awesome food, really genuine and pleasant staff. Watching he staff work in concert is amazing! The food is fast, good and plentiful. I can't wait to go back!
