People with complaints are just silly - cut and dried it is an acceptable dinner with good food. It is not "to die for" or bad - just dependable, hot food with decent delivery. Wantabe gourmets should review higher caliber restraunts, go to opentable with other fake gourmets or just shut up.

I order from here almost everyday for flavored coffee and breakfast for my family. Great egg sandwiches and bagels. Kids love chicken nuggets and burgers for lunch. Solid diner!

Wish they where 24 hrs

I lived directly across the street for 4 years, and have put up with boring food and incompetent staff for too long. I had my last straw this week. I decided no more George's for me. So I looked up Dinner's in the financial district on this menu pages site. There are quite a few. I am looking forward to finding a decent dinner!

I live a couple blocks away, I could basically throw a rock to George's. But somehow, they never can seem to find my building when I order? I mean 2 block away, really? Food is mediocre, but there is nothing else around down here. I guess go for it if you want brunch on a lazy Sunday.

George's is one of the best places I have experienced downtown. The food is consistent and price is reasonable. The cross. french tst and fresh orange juice is to die for.

I went here and everything was just bad. The service was extremely slow and unhelpful, which is annoying but I can tolerate that if the food is really good. Unfortunately, the food was even worse. I always try to be open-minded, but this was just impossible. I have never tasted worse home fries in my life. On top of everything, it was sort of expensive. It was $4 for a glass of really crappy orange juice. I'll never be back here again, and I hope nobody else has the same bad experience I had.
