Hidden Jewel
There are a plethora of places to dine in on 9th avenue, but Gazala's Place is one I can recommend easily. The waitstaff is so friendly & entertaining. The food is authentic & tasty. I had spinach pie, cucumber soup & a unique dessert that was out of this world.

great
Light & Fluffy falafel - not over seasoned, smoky baba ghannouj and great hummus & tahini to compliment the tasty house salad, the boreks (piled high at the storefront) are delicious also !! The owner and waitstaff are very friendly.

Food was awesome!!
I never write reviews but this was so good I had to. Randomly ordered delivery and decided on this place. The food was absolutely fantastic. Do yourself a favor and try this place!

Awesome!!
As a vegetarian and vegan chef, I've eaten a lot of bad falafel. The falafel sandwich I got here was the BEST I've EVER eaten. The fresh pita and perfectly seasoned falafel was amazing. I will definitely return again and again.

Worst Middle Eastern Food
Since I'm Middle Eastern, I consider myself a good critic of food from this region, but I must say that the food from this restaurant was absolutely disappointing. I ordered the Chicken and Kafta Kabob entrees, Falafel, and the Spinach & Cheese Pie--all of which were inedible. The Chicken Kabob was dry and tasteless. The Kafta Kabob was salty and contained too much parsley. Uncle Ben's makes better rice than they do. Go to Afghan Kabob House #1 or La Kabbr in Midtown West for tasty, inexpensive Middle Eastern food.

Best middle eastern we've had
Was amazed at the flavor and quality of the food. We ordered Tabouleh, Labne, Lamb Kabob and Falafel platter. It was a bit pricey, but amazing.
