    Price too high, small portions

Hummus was great w lamb but the portions were for children and at $17.50 for lamb hummus platter it was a sad entree when I received it at home. Stick to the basics and not the main dishes.

    Overall a good experience

Cute restaurant, but my main complaint was that since the restaurant is very small, every time the door opens you freeze to death! We ordered an appetizer combo, and everything was good but no better than the stuff you get at the grocery store. I orde

Don't waste yor time and money

I went to the restaurant with my boyfriend and some friends and I was very embarrassed that I brought my friends there. I’ve been there 9 month ago and I had much better experience than now. The food was decent, place was almost empty(there were 4 more

I am a Mid Eastern food fanatic. This woman's grape leaves are sublime. The different filo pastries are amazing. I've had one of the lamb dishes before, and I enjoyed it. I went to the restaurant the first time 3 months after it opened. The owner was sta

    Overrated Food

I ordered hummus, which was tasteless and a grilled fish, which was not meaty. The falafel was overcooked. The soup was bland. Would not go back.

    Finally, good middle eastern food!

This place hit all the right notes. After trying and failing miserably to find that Middle Eastern place that had fresh ingredients, was fully prepared in-house, authentic and interesting, this one is it. Tiny place, but it definitely feels authentic.

    Hidden Jewel

There are a plethora of places to dine in on 9th avenue, but Gazala's Place is one I can recommend easily. The waitstaff is so friendly & entertaining. The food is authentic & tasty. I had spinach pie, cucumber soup & a unique dessert that was out of th
