Great pizza, poor service
Garlic has great pizza, especially love their individual pizza's. However, the owner should do himself a favor & get some feel waiter service, not the bus boy & someone who can at least take an order over the phone. It's ridiculous how bad the help is there & too bad because the food is really good.

Not what the other reviewers said
When I read the reviews I decided to go there hoping for a decent slice of regular pizza. Although they have a large selection (too large), I just wanted a really good regular slice which is hard to find these days, it seems. What I got was the usual soggy (although it was reheated), not thin crust but regular slice with sauce and cheese that you can find at the 99 cent places. Very weak and no, I will not be going back. Sorry

Yummy
The buffalo chicken slice is fantastic and so is the antipasto salad. Cheese pizza is good, the mozzarella sticks and calamari are terrible. Overall if you order the right thing this place is great and everyone is really nice.

Amazingly Delicious
It is my first trip to New York, and the first thing I wanted was of course a slice of New York pizza. A friend of mine recommended this place and it was everything and more. The pizza was delicious, and the service was the best. Before my trip is over I will definitely visit this place again. This is great for all the pizza lovers, Im one of them.

A real review
Great to have a new place along Second Avenue and always try to frequent local business'. BUT, this is Second Avenue and frankly, doesn't wasrrant Fifth Avenue prices for a simple slice of pizza. A few Brooklyn boys who think "its easy" to pan their fare off to selecting New Yorkers - Come on - with .99cent pizza around the corner, you really need to use real plates and accept the fact many of us are from Brooklyn and expect good food at fair prices, clean tables and a restaurant filled with locals and not the Brooklynites friends who site in the front of the restaurant to make it look like its the hottest in town.

Unimpressed
I was looking for a new go-to pizza delivery place after finding out that my beloved Firehouse Pizza is closed (RIP) and stumbled upon Garlic. The amazing reviews and decent prices lured me in, and I was excited. Unfortunately, as the pizza sits in front of us, I'm hard pressed to see what all the fuss is about. The Garlic bread is soggy and soft. The pizza is tasteless and the toppings are minimal. Not trying to be dramatic, but it's up there with some of the worst pizza I've had, even outside of NYC. Maybe I got them on a bad night or something? White pizza with spinach is like crack to me, and this just misses the mark completely. So sad! I will say delivery was prompt and the prices are good, but I will definitely NOT be ordering from here again. In the absence of Firehouse, the search continues...

I never write reviews-ever, but they are simply amazing! Great people work there, and the food is just delicious... I always order the thin grandmas sicilian margherita, yummmmy
