Huge dissapointment
We sat at the bar, so the review doesn't reflect table service. Bar service was not good at all! prices are ridiculously expensive for what you get, like chicken with mash potato for $25, 12 clams $40. Service was below slow, food arrived after 30 minutes, while the bartenders never stopped to ask if we'd like additional drinks (we did want), grumpy bartender. I tried to impress my friend by coming here and wasn't successful. For beer and music come here, beyond that, go elsewhere. don't say I didn't tell you.

Wear ear plugs
The staff were helpful and gracious. Our waiter even turned off the speaker above our table. There was a "jazz" group playing with a singer who had no idea how to lower his voice, or the volume on his mike. Were were there to eat and chat, but the singer made it impossible. He drove us away.

not at all bad
Good tasty food served to us al fresco allowing us to watch with fascination the energetic passing vista and yet we could hear the very pleasant jazz msic drifting through to us from inside without overpowering the conversation. You wouldn't come here for a mind blowing gastronomic experience , but then it doesn't make this claim. What you get is fine and perfectly acceptable to all but those who have pretentious palates.

hit or miss
i've been here several times. once, the waiter was rude and judgmental when we asked for refills on our UNLIMITED brunch drinks. the second time, the food was incredible and the waiter (a latino guy) was pleasant and very forthcoming with mimosas. another time, the french toast was amazing and the waitress was rude. great environment if you can sit outside during the summer and still hear the jazz inside. not impressed with the waitstaff.

Good Meal, Good Music, Good Service
We stopped in for 10:15 PM reservations on a Saturday night. The music was good and the staff was very friendly. We were served our drinks with in 5 minutes of sitting at the table. The apterizers were ok. The dinners were good. I had the garlic Chicken. Very good. The rest at our table had Scallops and a seafood dish. They loved their dishes. We had a bottle of the Merlot from Chile. Great Value at $30 a bottle (hard to find a good $30 bottle of wine in a resturant NYC). They had a nice martini list which one of my guests had several. The live jazz music was very nice. I would go back again.

Enjoyable Evening
As we had reservations for Saturday, I was a bit concerned based on the other reviews on this site. Fortunately, we had wonderful evening on all accounts...food, service and music. We got sat at our reservation time, our server was polite and available as needed, and the food was good. The best part was the music, which we really enjoyed. All in all we had a great time.

Run away while you still can
Poor service. For the prices that they charge, their food is at best par. Consider yoursefl warned.
