Gan Asia

we go (order take out) for our weekly poker game, food is the best and the value is best in town. The people there always estimate how long it'll be before our order comes and are usually spot on. Can't tell you what it looks like, but a friend told me it looks like a clean place with lot's of thank you and reccomendation letters on the wall. I'm a committed customer and am not leaving them anytime soon.

With so many restaurants trying to attract customers by touting their good food, great value, and attentive service, its a refreshing breather to find a restaurant like Gan Asia that doesn't care about any of those. The food is unappetizing and of cheap quality (when chicken and mixed vegetables comes with 4 bites of chicken a few pieces of green pepper and a sauteed onion), the prices are exorbitant (I could probably make that dish for $3) and the service is poor(they were extremely rude when I asked why chicken and mixed vegetables was an onion with a bite of chicken). There are so many better places to order from - you don't need to spend a lot to be disappointed!

The food is just ok but the service is so poor you probably won't get to the food. I've ordered from them a number of times. The last couple of times we've ordered, the order has been incorrect. Once, they were courteous and apologized for the error. Today, they brought the wrong food and when I called they told me both that (1) they didn't make what I ordered (I then told him exactly where on the menu it is) and then (2) that I didnt order it and the mix up was my fault. All this aggravation and the food isn't that good to begin with (and the prices are exorbitant).

I am just a regular Chinese taker-outer, but this is the worst Chinese food I've ever experienced at some of the highest prices. I ordered General Tso's chicken, and first thought they sent the wrong dish. It came in a soupy sauce that resembled sweet and sour chicken and had a bitter taste. Aside from the difference in taste and look, what was inexcusable was that the dish was all batter!! I know cheap Chinese restaurants usually overdo it on the batter, but in this dish even some of the big pieces actually had no meat. And how much for this plate? 18 dollars! To be fair, the spring rolls were also different from what I've ordered, but were actually quite tasty. You will be disappointed if you order a similar dish!

I understand that I am probably putting Gan Asia's owner future kids through college since I order quite frequently, but there is a reason I do so. The food won't wow you, but if you have a craving for Chinese and are real hungry then they are the guys to call. Their delivery men always came extremely quickly...sometimes even 15 minutes after I hang up the phone. Overall, the menu has some decent items, some others which may cause colitis, but overall don't take any risks...enjoy the pad thai...and get your craving satiated in under a half-an-hour.

Tried this place for the first time. The food took nearly an hour to arrive. The dumplings were dry and doughy. The chow fun was undercooked and almost tasteless. And it was really expensive.

Super delicious food! Very fast delivery. The prices are not so cheap, but take into account that portions are huge! we always have leftovers...that we enjoy the following day too! highly recommended
