    Mixed feelings

The pros were: 2 levels, lots tables, good for groups, very attentive waitstaff. It is located near the B, D, F, M, N, Q, R subways, and a short walk to penn station. I went here with a group of girlfriends. We almost left within the first 30 minu

    Birthday Success

I had the most wonderful experience for my 23rd birthday this year - I called ahead and arranged a big table upstairs for all my friends and I - so accomodating was the Galway Hooker! We stayed upstairs and enjoyed a great atmosphere and no trouble at the

    Not good

The food was fine. It tasted good but I could get the same quality food at almost any Irish pub in New York City. The staff is seriously unfriendly. The person who waited on us was very rude. We sat waiting for 45 minutes for our food. My friend asked nic

    Fun non-pretentious bar

I never write reviews, but decided this bar deserves one, and a good one at that! It is so nice to find a bar that pretty much has it all, without having the crappy attitude that usually accompanies such popularity. The bar itself is very busy on the wee

    Great Pub!

Went to Galway Hooker the other night and had a blast!! A couple girlfriends and I went for happy hour ($4 deal!!) and stayed to eat. Food was great... sliders were small but delicious and suprisingly filling. They served the fries with an awesome currry
